You don't have to try very hard to learn to walk.

You don't even remember how hard it was to learn to talk.

You breathe without having to think about every breath you need to take.

You're given everything you need to live naturally, without needing to think to control it. All you assholes have to do is preserve yourselves. But even that's too hard ( Read more... )

Ha. It's the first time in a long time I haven't dealt with people whining and crying about what I have to say. People don't agree with this point of view very often.

... They're usually the first to get offed.

I see little reason to disagree completely, honestly. If anything, I am rather tired of the same sort of speeches being announced repeatedly...

Yet are unwilling to do what is necessary.

Those repetitive speeches are supposed to raise the hope of all these losers, but really they don't hear it all for what it is: Just a hollow attempt at getting them to shut up. Maybe they all want to die in peace, maybe they don't want to hear the rest of the herd of sheep bleating to their deaths.

Nothing ever changes here, unless it's the number of casualties...

That is all words are in the end, is it not? Words, spoken or written, are nothing but that: words. Even if beautiful or eloquent, words change nothing.

Though if people want to die, not even that is working out for them, now is it? They will just come back into the same mess.

...You sound like this other guy that used to be here. He had a thing about words, too. But yeah... People like to pretend there's some sort of feeling behind those words though. Sometimes there are, but not in this shithole. I don't believe a word they say when they try to tell everyone to be strong and stick together. They just want help themselves, they don't care about you.

That's right. I died here one and all it did was make things that much harder for me. How can anything be as thrilling as dying? It makes life harder for me, having taken most of the fun out of it.

Used to be here? Shame he isn't now.

More than likely some of the people are genuine about their warnings. However, the better question will always be if they are truly concerned about the people they are speaking to or just to not wish to be personally hurt by any potential loss.

To me, actions speak louder than words. If some of these people truly care, why not do something different other than attempt to soothe over the masses with pretty speeches?

Truthfully... Death is something I will embrace when the time comes. Openly and enjoy it. However that time is not now, at least not for myself.

They're all selfish. They can make it seem like selflessness with their words, but even the police force here is shit. They make their announcements, but how many of them ever go out and help their precious sheep?

I've embraced death before, but the greatest feeling in life was fighting to keep my life. Who would want to be simply snuffed out, boring and just accepting? You can accept death with a fight, and if you win that fight you'll just happen to be disappointed. I was disappointed a lot... But when you get what you want that's the end. The ultimate experience. Coming back to life changed everything. I needed that thrill to live, and now it's a struggle to feel it.

I noticed that right away. The police force is a pathetic display of enforcement. They have laws but no real way of backing up anything and expect people to just obey? That is not likely to happen.

Ah. You seek the thrill of the life and death struggle. I can see why knowing that you will be brought back would just distinguish your enjoyment.
