When the lady curses...

Oct 01, 2008 21:01

It wasn't often that Nessa woke in a curse. When she heard the trickling of water on the hut's roof, her initial reaction was to give a content sigh and turn around in her bed. She felt it calming, soothing even, the arrhythmic sound of drops falling to the ground.

When the trickling became more devoted, it woke her a bit more. There wasn't a particular change in the sound when she fully woke, but it was her thought that startled her awake. Her paintings! They were outside still!

"Bugger!" She exclaimed and climbed out of bed and into the rain as fast as her body would allow. With only a robe around her she walked into the rain bare-footed to rescue her paintings, mumbling curses under her voice as her feet tread into a pool of rain, mixed with paint.

((OOC: Soaked and trying to rescue her paintings. Timed to when the rain starts early in the morning.))
