I guess there’s no such thing as change and growth without the pain, huh?

Friday night, Will told John that we are out of the company (Will has a GREAT job lined up to start as soon as he wants), and he spun it for “friendship” reasons, because he knows how John reacts and how defensive he is. The real reasons are as follows:

  • John’s a fucking idiot

  • John’s a fucking douchebag

  • John has no respect for anyone but himself

  • John only respects you if he needs to use you

  • John has had no regard for us or anyone since he met Michelle

  • John has been on drugs since he met Michelle (and is marrying her on Saturday in Iowa)

  • John has done drugs in my house

  • John has practically been living with Mike again (this and the drugs in the house have always been deal-breakers for us, and he knows that)

  • John damaged my car while we were in San Diego because he was mad at us

  • John has not been really working for over a month, he just assumes Will is going to get it done if he feels like getting high instead

  • John has almost no work anymore, because everyone that Will brought to the company (as contractors) doesn't want John on the jobs anymore, because they’ve noticed he’s acting all drugged out lately.

Anyhow, we’ve stayed long past when we should have left, and Will broke the news and John took it really really well, which should have been our first clue of how things would turn out in the end.

In the end, Will mourned over the loss of a partnership/friendship while John was scheming behind our backs and taking classes from Mike on how to be a bastard. After a few lines of coke this weekend, he got pissed, and accused us of trying to screw him over, which wasn’t the point at all. If anything, we’d love to see him succeed, and all we asked for was one of the trucks. But now he’s screwing us over instead.

Which is really fine - he’s just digging his own hole. We’ll be fine, because we’re doing the right thing, and sometimes doing the right thing can have some hard side-effects. But I have no doubt we’ll be protected in all this.

In other news, Moses is going to live at the Patterson’s house until we get a house! He will get to play with his brother and hopefully, we won’t get in trouble with the apartment complex - apparently, our neighbor told them we have a pet. Oh well…I guess it’s bound to happen with a 70 lb animal.

I’ve also spent a LOT of time with Jenn Francis lately, which has been fun! And girls’ night last week consisted of her and me and Tisha - other people need to start making it a priority! ;) And we went to a Halloween party at Nikki and Christian’s, and our new roommate wrecked his truck on Saturday night at 5am (we weren’t with him)…pretty much, anyone who knows us is going to be on a winning streak pretty soon here.
