First ever attempt at writing BBC Sherlock so it's really short. ;) Enjoy the ficbit!
~~~~~~
Sherlock has never had anyone trust him the way John does. Not so faithfully, so completely.
He asks questions and gets irritated, exasperated, even a little bit angry but in the end John trusts him so completely as to do what Sherlock says even if he hasn’t explained why.
It’s incredible and unbelievable and he knows he’s undeserving of John but he’s so grateful to have him anyway. It’s there every time John looks at him, the faith and trust. Moriarty was right about one thing: John was loyal to a fault and that was all for Sherlock.
That dedication is the most precious thing Sherlock has ever had and, he suspects, ever will.
Which is what strengthens his resolve to take down Moriarty as thoroughly as possible. John is too important, too precious to let that very real psychopath take him because Moriarty was right about one final thing. Sherlock did have a heart and it belonged to John.
