When the engine's stalled and it won't stop raining it's the right time to roll to me.

My foot's alseep. Such is life.

"Let them eat cake!" I forgot why she said this.

I have finally quit biting my nails,
I have quit my other bad habit,
I have quit lying to my mother,
I have quit giving up,
I have quit hating vegetables,
I have begun to find find find what I need.

I'm currently in correspondance with a Mr. Jim Grimsley and a Ms. Paula Vitrias (sp) who happen to be the heads/seniors in residence of Emory's Creative Writing department. This could be a good thing.

I need to be able to imagine myself being grounded somewhere for four years.
I should start taking more initiative.

I can't wait for the four day weekend next week. Hallelujah.
I want to hear back from Gravatt. God, summer there is amazing.
Prom is in exactly 2 months. Ain't no thing but a chicken wing to me, but I should probably find a dress.

I miss my Dad and I hate the corny patriotic songs that I hear that make me cry out of love. And I hate when he doesn't email for a week at a time and we hear things on the news. And yeah, knowing it's Baghdad, knowing that they cross green zones, that's scary, terrifying even. But what is most frightening is the not knowing. Is the not knowing if he sleeps well, eats well, tells us everything or anything at all. My partner needs to come home.

Summer's only about two handfuls of weeks away and I am holding out for the luscious freedom of time and space.

I got myself sushi this afternoon.
A treat for nothing.
Maybe for smiling at the sunshine and the finally warming weather.

I want to go up to Asheville soon, I want to eat apples and peanut butter, strawberries and whipped cream.
I'd love to dine on a glass of ice cold water right about now.
I'm going to ride in a hot air balloon before I die
and figure out what music it is that I actually love.

Quiero mi hermano.
Quiero mi vida.
Quiero manana.

Oh and I don't have a bottom dollar to bet, but that sun's coming out tomorrow and the Office and Scrubs is coming on, so I'm taking this one day at a time.
