There is a wide, spacious hall, with floors and walls made of granite and marble. Every surface is cold to the touch; the air circulates normally. The walls are dotted with various doors that have been placed at random.
The hall could be that of a castle's, it is decorated with such grandeur. There are large plants with rich-looking pots, plush chairs and benches; it is fit for a king.
But it is not a king that walks through these halls.
This is all an illusion, and if you've been condemned to venture into these twisting and turning corridors, you will soon see past it and know it's true origin. This maze didn't come from good.
Behind each door lies a new bout of strife, a new deadly and horrific endeavor that one must go through to survive. The "dead rooms," rooms in which an unfortunate has not completed their task, automatically disappear and regenerate themselves elsewhere. From inside the hall, it looks like nothing but a door vanishing and reappearing on another place on the wall.
