Excitement... Don't overwhelm me now
So, I've been busy lately. Yeah, who hasn't, right? WEll, I have, damn it. And This Saturday, I will be involved in a great band, if only for two shows. Yes, I said it, two shows only. The band Never, Never will has only 2 shows left. One is Saturday, as in this saturday, the 17th, at Simmer Coffee shop. Anyone and everyone should come. It will be a fun time. I am quite nervous about it and have been since I was approached by Mike K. to sing back-up vocals and harmonies, but tonights practice(as in Thursday night) went very well. We will be meeting again tomorrow to help me get used to the songs by Saturday. Then on the 26th of December, A.K.A. the day AFTER Christmas, Never Never will play their last show ever. I am honored to be a part of this show, yet sad to see it end for now. Mike will be leaving for Egypt and I wish him the best. I just wish I could have met him sooner. A great musician and a really friggin cool guy. So, hmmm... what else is new. Not a whole lot really. Just basically the same old, same old. Work is the same. Fix apartment, move on to next apartment, repeat. I found out Wednesday night that Ryan's Pub in M.C. has a police report against me because, according the the asshole bartender, "some of your friends didn't pay their bill and you said you would go and talk to them and get it taken care of, but you left, so that's that..." Blah blah blah... what an ass. Funny how the fact tha I paid my tab and his beliefs that some of my friends didn't pay theirs give him the right to report ME. OH well, I haven't heard from anyone yet, and when I do, I have proof that I paid mine. And that's all that's important. It's just ridiculous that I *might* have that hanging over me. ummm.. what else. The Skit saturday went well. I haven't shaved my beard yet and have been told by many individuals that I shouldn't because, "It looks really good." So, we'll see how long the thing takes before it annoys the heck out of me and I shave it all off. I think that people won't recognize me if I do shave it off though. Oh well, that's up to them. Ahh... as a side note, I recorded a new song that Never Never had been working on and I am working on words for it. If it all comes together like I hope, the song will be played on the 26th and it will be fantastic. The music is great, I just now need to come up with some appropriate lyrics. I don't think that that will be a problem. Anyways, I better go to sleep, or at least try. I didn't sleep for crap last night. I don't know why, but I'm hoping that that doesn't happen tonight because I was exhausted after lunch, and I didn't hardly do anything.
