Found myself playing host to a Canadian Poet called Jill who I met whilst out in Toronto who was over in London last weekend. Managed to not turn up to Farago Poetry to see her stint.

Saturday she spent shopping whilst I played Cricket and I met her after she went ot the Cellar whereupon she was exposed to / accquainted with The Earl of NorthumberlandT

Sunday was 'The Tourist thing'... and here is where the ineptness sort of stems from as when I recounted these events to Blair I mentioned how Jill had got to meet so many people I wished Blair had met, it went something along the lines of...

Jill got to have breakfast with Emma (That said When Emma saw me the morning after our date Emma did ask why I didn't bring you back to ours, to which I responded that it would have felt improper to ask - She suggested I did this in a Joking way - I might have to remember that for the next time),

To which Blair responded with

in light of your most recent letter, I feel like it may be worth mentioning that on the train ride back to London, I was thinking, "If you ask me over, I'll totally come over" but thought it most unproper to invite myself over.  After arriving in Canada, I was like, "Aw, fuck.  I should have said something."  And almost sent you a message to that effect.  But didn't.  Until now. Something about seizing the moment.

Oh, I don't know if I should have told you that... but here I go anyways.

Blair

Oh well. I suppose 'honour' was intact and I'm still  'nice'.
