I know it has been a while. The last I wrote I was complaining about grandma much of the time. Since then, she has moved back to her own house, so it isn't as much of a headache. However, her condition is constantly worsening. Her memory is fading faster than the snap of a finger. It is a sad thing to watch happening. She continues to have seizures every once in a while. She was taken for and MRI yesterday to see if the cancer has spread to her brain. She starts chemo on Friday. Thankfully her insurance covered a major portion of the chemotherapy drugs, otherwise they would be $6000 per month on top of doctor's fees. All of this is a distraction from school, but I am somehow staying afloat.
Another medical worry... one of my friends is back in the hospital. He went to the emergency room about a week ago with a very high fever and a rash of some sort, and they told him to just get some rest and he'll be fine. He never really got any better and is back at the hospital and his mother is up to stay with him. :(
