... So I pretty much have two papers to write tonight (before we head out for Best of the East), a shower to take, and a load of rugby laundry to do. *Sigh* Fun times. I'm totally procrastinating--which is mostly what I do these days. I realized the bulk of my life is spent on random, bad web sites (of the celinedion.com and people.com variety, nothing too racy) and waiting for M&Cs. That and with the ruggers. I can't complain about any of those things, though.

Well, laundry is done. And one of the best random mixes of songs came on my iPod while I was folding the jerseys in Kendall:
1. I'm Gonna Getcha Good - Shania Twain
2. Blue - Eiffel 65
3. Split Screen Sadness - John Mayer
4. Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? - Paula Cole
5. Seasons of Love - Rent
6. Do You Really Want to Hurt Me? - Culture Club
7. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now - Jefferson Airplane
8. Where Does the Good Go? - Tegan + Sara
9. Could You Lie? - Allison Krauss
10. Total Eclipse of the Heart - Nicki French
11. Fear - Sarah McLachlan
Please take note of the question titles--are they trying to tell me something!? Anyway, folding laundry was not so bad. Now I just have the papers to write.

This happily single thing is ... good. A relief. Worthwhile. Important. Katy says I probably still want to make out with her (yes, she told me to mention her in this entry). She's probably right; then again, I don't think I'd turn many people down in that respect (although I know I did, once).

Now, more than ever, I wish to preserve everything that is; letting go gives me such grief--can't we all just stay this way forever?
