home from the winery dinner. excellent wine and delicious 4 course meal and nice people at our table. I tend to be skeptical of the forced mingling at these events, but the people at our table were lovely. later my dad was talking to this guy who was pretty cute and they apparently knew each other but whatever I was talking with my mom and not really thinking about it and then on the way home my dad mentioned his name and it was totally someone I went to high school with. and he looks gooooood. I'm sad I didn't figure that out earlier. although I suppose if he cared he could have asked my dad about me. plus I look pretty much the same as I did in high school. he does not look the same. at all. AND I found out he's now a detective. and I don't even want to examine why I find that attractive so maybe it's good that this was a totally missed connection. (honestly I don't even know if he's single.) (also for those of you keeping score... his name is David. because they are always named David or Chris. always.)

I'm not sure what's on the agenda tomoorw (depends on the weather probably) but Monday is going to be more wine tasting. I'm fairly certain I'm going to be spending my entire vacation with a slight buzz. I am ok with this.

still haven't settled on a hair style/color for my appt on Tuesday. I know what styles I like, I'm just not sure if they'll look good on me. being pretty is hard. ;p
