Plans for this semester
OK. OK. So I have this plan. I don't know if it is a very good plan, but it is a plan none the less.
This plan involves NOT watching the forth coming season of Merlin, set to air this weekend, (bare with me it gets better) but instead bookmark a whole pile of big bang stories that I can use as rewards for when I complete study work through out the week. (See it's a stella plan isn't it?)
For if I watch Merlin my current mediocre efforts at studying will go out the window as I get swept up by fandom activity and attempting to find and stream the latest episode. My priorities should be my study work, this is me trying to make my study work a priority over fandom.
Here is my explination for the big bang fics. I still need down time, and I work better when I have something as a reward at the end of completing something. Plus these are stories that average above 20,000 words. if i bookmark enough of them hopefully they will last me until I finish for the semester and I won't be exposed to the goings on of fandom for I shall go straight to my memories for these, which means checking my friends page will cease. (this plan is sounding better and better by the minute isn't it?)
Before you suggest I use the Merlin eps as rewards, don't. I tried that with Merlin last year and it didn't have the effect it should have.
So basically No Merlin for Nissah until sometime in November (the exam timetable isn't up yet) I am so smart for thinking up this plan 4 days before the first ep airs.
Now I shall go get tea in the hope that it will end my craving for sweet things.
