Wedding Happenings and Overall Week Greatness
-Carrying bridesmaids dresses through an airport is a great conversation piece.
-You know how you have different groups of friends (example: friends from college and friends from home) and usually they don't really mix together that often? But sometimes they do? Liz successfully blended. Weddings are a great place to make new friends. good things.
-Experienced my first Catholic wedding. Oh Father Bob. :) sit...stand...walk there and here. lovely, completely lovely.
-God stopped the rain long enough for us to throw oats and them to ride away in a horse drawn carriage. !!! Why? Because God loves Liz. :)
-The first dance. I must tell you this. I have been to many weddings. I have seen many first dances, always a lovely moment. I don't even have words to describe how beautiful it was to watch them gaze. Andrea anfd I are sitting here trying to think of a way to describe the way Liz looked...she was glowing and practically floating. Everyone stopped. It was practically a Disney moment. Captivating.
-There was much dancing. Unfortunately Liz chose bridesmaids with little to no rhythm to accompany seemingly everyone else with rhythm flowing from their ears. At least we are fun. We've got rhythm in our hearts!
It was wonderful. Wonderful to see it. Wonderful to see the genuine love between them. Wonderful to see joy pouring from her.
And now I'm exhausted.
I slept on Andrea's couch all day while she checked all of her RA's out.
And now time to finish the evening with pizza and Andrea's hysterical friends. We'll see how long I last. I'm ready for bed...an hour ago.
And my voice is gone. :) The only way to cap off this weekend greatness.
Back in the Arbor tomorrow for 5 more days.
