Growing Great Trees Indoors

Sep 05, 2005 08:41

I woke up this morning, with a new perspective. You can't grow trees inside, you can't produce crops of large massive living organizations by covering them. I had a dream that this unique situation that I was in was because of an attempt to cop out instead of dealing with an even bigger issue. I believe that, not just in dreaming but, also in reality that this is true. You can't expect to run forever, and have people speak for you and you never deal with your issue. I have never allowed anyone to speak how I feel, or let another persons actions be mine. Maybe thats why I am such a hard person to deal with. I make choices, and I deal with them. I don't hold my tongue. I am true and real.

You can't expect a tree to grow indoors. You can't cover issues. You can't retreat to something that seems easier to deal with. You gotta face it. You gotta live with it. Its the only way you grow and become strong and powerful. You can easily try to go and gain strength, but inevitably you are just prolonging dealing with the issue.

You can't stand tall and strong in a world where your shielded by people and things. You become stunted by the very thing you think is "temporarily" helping you.

Outdoors in this sense, is reality and the real world. Being inside is a shelter even can be a place of complacency. Grant it everyone needs shelter, but is that shelter coming from a retreat or rest after a victory.

Now, I'd rather it be based on a victory.
