My Best Friend Is Going Through Hell Right Now
I just found out a few minutes ago that my best friend's apartment was broken into while he was visiting me this weekend.
He was held up at gunpoint last Thursday (he lives in DC) and his phone and wallet were taken from him. We assume the two incidents are related.
His home phone was stolen this time around and it hurts because he needs a friend and can't call anyone.
It's very sad what people do to one another.
I am a firm believer in karma however. While I know that people who perpetrate crimes of this nature are already stuck in their own form of hell, these types of actions will only help to solidify this course. As he is unharmed, my reaction is to pity those who have done this to him.
And to expect better things to come his way...
