the only thing i know is awkward silence ...
wow, i had SO SO SO SO SO SO SO much fun yesterday/last night. it was the best time i've had in a long while.
so i picked up sarah and we went over to lauren's around three. jenna went home to change, and me & sarah & lauren watched tv until she got back, and then around quarter of four we left town. the car ride down was really fun, we sang along to the radio and talked about people, lol. we got into portland around four-thirty and i parked in the parking garage near the state theater.
sarah was hungry, and there wasn't a huge line, so we walked down the block to a convenience store and sarah&jenna got food, and me&lauren got candy and gum. then we made our way back to the state and got in line. we were in line for a little over two hours, but it was so damn fun. we talked & joked & laughed the entire time. we mostly talked about peter and bourgeois and how we will want them eternally and how they're basically the two coolest guys ever that we would marry. lol. then we were paranoid that they were right behind us and listening.
finally the doors opened, and we ran down and got a great spot near the very front. we threw our jackets and bags on the chair next to us and reserved a whole bubble in case bourgeois, auburn, peter, luke, and kevin found us and wanted to stand with us. sarah and i were thirsty so we went to get a drink before the show started, and while we were out there i bought stay what you are, which is an amazing cd.
we went back and got back in our spots, and then a little while later we spotted auburn and bourgeois, and they came and stood with us. the show started pretty soon after that.
the first band was circle & square, and i really liked them! they were good, and cute! ;) plus they had this guy with a massive amount of hair. haha, they were fun.
the next band was ash, and they were really good too. they had a chick in their band! lol and they were from ireland. bourgeois found this out and said, "whoa! i thought they were from long island!" lmao i love that kid. plus, ash had a song in the movie angus which is one of the BEST movies ever. RENT IT NOW if you haven't seen it.
after ash played, luke and kevin found us and stood behind us. we all freaked out when saves the day came on. they were so amazing. they were just... excellent. as lauren said about something else, "it's kinda like...good...yeah ..." lol crazy girl. but yeah i LOVED them, and watching luke dance was the funniest thing ever. he's so... gangly. lol.
at one point during saves the day, i felt dizzy (probably cause i haven't really been sleeping or eating much), and i didn't want to pass out, so i went out back and got a mountain dew and sat down for a few minutes where i still had a good view of the stage. i talked to a hot guy, and saw the security guards drag a drunk guy outside, lol. then i bought a saves the day t-shirt and an ash poster, and went back to my spot for the rest of saves the day. man they were so good!
afterward, we got to talk to the guys! yayyyyyy. haha and then we went to the car and headed out of town. the ride back was fun too. even though we were all tired, we sang along to the radio and talked more and stuff. we stopped at a burger king rest stop on the way to pee and grab some food (i was the only one who didn't eat). then i dropped lauren & jenna off at lauren's house, and i brought sarah home and came home.
i fell asleep to the sounds of stay what you are and had a really nice dream that i can't really go into. but it gave me the warm fuzzies... it was just disappointing to wake up and realize that it was a dream.
