“Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don’t think that you’ve lost time. There is no short-cutting to life. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.”
I was scared of today, still am.
So much to do, so little time.
But then something just made me realize, it's the small things in life that count. And if I look hard enough, focus enough on what really matters, life would be well, pretty darn beautiful.
Was walking back from accounting lecture to hall. Took the longer way because it was raining and I didn't bring my umbrella out. The longer way was sheltered most of the way except for this small little 3 m walk across the road. Was about to try to run across it to minimize the time in the rain when someone called out, "excuse me, do you want to share umbrella across". Some fellow resident, though I've never seen him around before. And well, it just reminded me that people are all good. Inside, they are all, good. And it always seems like life reminds me, and I always seem to forget. But times like these, with the renewed belief that everyone deserves nothing but my best, I feel ready to give more, ready to put myself on the line again.
Here's to better Todays, and even better Tomorrows. :)
