Why don't you smile now?

The world, once again, has ceased to flux.

I made a friend yesterday, and his name is Colonel. He's not human. He's a ladybug, but I found him on the floor and I had to give him a hand. So, I moved him into my office and gave him water, lettuce, and a place to stay. Turns out he doesn't eat lettuce, so I'm on the lookout for some aphids. Anybody got any aphids? Anyhow, it was fun nursing him back to health, as well as watching him sleep on my pants, but I assumed that he would be gone by today. Which he was. I returned to find a shriveled piece of lettuce, and a stain on my bank statement where water used to be. So, I return to the monotony of payroll, when who comes crawling up to me on my desk? What a great little guy. So now, after quenching his thirst, he's resting comfortably on some sticky notes.

What's the point, C Ray?

I'm receiving interest on my Karma, that's what. This morning I awoke to my wonderful girl, smiling after a good night's sleep. Then she made me a delicious breakfast, returned the movie we rented, AND went downtown where she picked up the financial docs that I needed so I wouldn't have to go! And she's gorgeous to boot...

Really this message was a giant thank you to everyone out there who reads my rambling notes with praise. So...

THANKS TO THE BIRDS 'n THE GEEZERS FOR YOUR POSITIVITY!!!

There ain't nothin' wrong with grinnin' when your winnin',
Christopher
