Room 409: Wednesday Evening

Jan 11, 2006 22:36

Blair turned on his laptop and smiled when his music started playing. He had just gotten back in and he was tired, but not ready for sleep yet. Today had been exhausting with the Librarian who was notamonkey threw a banana at his head and then meeting with Dr. House who told him he had the flu. Then he had gone to US History and one of his classes with Professor Jackson. Blair frowned, he couldn't remember if it was Anthropology or Archaeology, but hopefully the two were enough alike that he didn't embarrass himself with class discussions.

He pulled the stuffed monkey and sat it on the bed, after a moment he turned it so it was looking out across the room and not directly at him. Then he pulled up his email program to send a letter to his mother.

"Naomi,

Hope India and Guru Dork Dinesh are great. Miss you.

School is great. I love my classes and am learning things. I'm running for student council too, but don't worry, they don't brainwash people in public office here...I asked the library lady. The library is cool, though the first day I got waylaid by a debate and today I got hit in the head with a banana.

Oh! I got the flu too. Not from the banana. From a water ambush by these great guys from the second floor. And then I was out late for the freshman bonfire. Where we don't cook freshman. We had pizza.

Just wanted to say hi and that I love you, Mom.

Blair

Blair booted up spider solitare on his computer and started playing, leaving the door open for people to drop by.
