Blair swung by his room during lunch and found cookies waiting for him. Bouncing happily, he bit into a cookie and flopped onto his bed.

River knocked on the door, and carefully opened it, nor waiting for a reply. "Hello?"

Her face lit up when she saw the cookies. "You got cookies too!"

"Hi, River!" Blair grinned up at her and nodded. "Yup, from Azzy. Mine are gingersnaps."

"So are mine, then. They look the same." River sat down on the bed next to Blair. "How are the pens?"

"Do you wanna share?" Blair asked, holding out a cookie and scooting over so that River could slide up next to him. "What pens are you talking about?"

River picked a cookie. "Oh, any pens you have. It was just a random subject for conversation." She took a bit out of the cookie. "Berthold liked these too."

Blair laughed and nodded. "Random is good. My pens are good, although I think that one of my gel pens is giving up the ghost. Poor guy was never the same after the dunk in the river."

"The non-girlfriend type of River." Blair teased. "Luckily you are good for my pens."

Blair smiled and wrapped an arm around River. "Hey, do you have any plans for Thanksgiving?"

She shook her head. "No plans. And I've never celebrated Thanksgiving before."

"You know what it is, right?" Blair asked. "Would you like to have plans?"

"I believe it's a holiday of some kind," River replied. She grinned. "And if the plans involve you I want to have plans."

"Big holiday with turkey." Blair nodded. "Dr. Wilson and Aziraphale invited me to go with them to visit Dr. Wilson's family in Jersey. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you came too!"

"Oh!" River looked very excited. "I'd like that. Family holidays."

"Great!" Blair bounced and hugged River tighter. "I'll let Dr. Wilson know that you'd love to come along. I think we're leaving Wednesday night and getting back Saturday."
