The voice from Blair's laptop woke him up and he bounced up to read the email.

Hope everything is going fine at your little school. Sorry I haven't been in touch, but I decided to leave the guru and travel on my own for a while. I'm in New Zealand right now and you'd love the scenery here. It's so majestic and peaceful, you really feel one with the mother goddess. Rick, the rancher that I'm living with, would love to meet you if you want to come visit.

Blair scrolled down until his laptop beeped at him. The first email he got from Naomi and it wasn't a response to anything he had written her, or even a birthday note. He shut the laptop and shoved it under his pillow. "Happy Birthday to me."
