Hey Look! It's an Update!

Things have been crazy and fun all at the same time. Pretty much work, grad school, wedding, and a little bit of other stuff.

Grad school is grad school and I will be thrilled when I no longer have to be a student anymore. I look forward to being able to take a workshop whenever I want, about whatever I want.

The wedding is coming along. Venue is all set. We had our food tasting in February and I'm waiting to hear back about the menu meeting to finalize the menu and start working on seating charts and whatnot. We had our cake tasting two weeks ago. I just need to call back and let the baker know what we decided on. There has been a toss up between vanilla and lemon. Also two weeks ago I went bridesmaid dress shopping. It went surprisingly well and I kinda want one of the dresses for myself. Some afternoon this week I'm going to start looking at florists with my mom. This is the last big thing I have to do. We settled on a JP back in January, which is a relief. The photographer and videographer have been set for awhile now. I need to make the invites and work on the vintage picture frames for the table numbers. Also need to work on the skeleton keys and place card tags to hang off of them. I can see it fitting together and making sense finally.

Work has been going ok for the most part. The vice principal and I had it out a few times. He didn't get that he can't discipline students and assign them a punishment with me and then not tell me it. I don't have my own classroom and during 10 minute break I'm a 7th grade para. I have a million meetings and trainings in the next few weeks.

As for other things, I mainly just do Happy Hour. I go to Dr. Sketchy's the first Friday of every month in Northampton to draw and last month I was the half-time entertainment. Over break I saw Mollie which was very fun. I need to do that more often. I also went to the camping show with Josh, Keith, and Carlos. We're helping them with float/truck plans for Noho Pride. I'm getting a drag queen make-over from Carlos for it! the big news, Josh and I bought a 1979 Ford Bronco to restore. It's gonna take awhile, but should be awesome when it's done.
