ConnectiCon was awesome. I had an amazing time with Josh. It was our first con together and my first time at this con. We didn't do much, mainly wandered around the dealer's room and artist alley. We did however spend too much money on fun things and Steampunk it up Saturday.
I ended up dropping my summer class before it started because of the amount of work. I've taken art histories before and have had to struggle a bit with papers and projects, so I know myself well enough to know a month is not enough time to do that many projects and papers well enough to pass the class. I also had an interview to officially to be accepted to Framingham State College. It didn't go how I hoped. The person interviewing me said he'd accept me, but my drawing and painting skills aren't good enough. So now I wait to see what he and the head of art education decide.
Happy Hour has a few fun shows coming up. We are performing Friday night before CAP at Pi-Con. Then we have a fundraiser show and party at a private venue. Looking forward to that show because I get to play with fire! Then we have two shows at Wicked Ithaca the first weekend in October. Things with CAP seem to be going well. I'm trying my best to help out with whatever I can for The Academy show Halloween night.
