Things between my boyfriend and I are better than ever it seems like. I miss him a lot. Yesterday we saw crash. It is actually a good movie. It takes on racial stereotypes and basically racism overall. I applaud the director for being brave and coming out with that movie. To me, they definitely will have my $15 when I go to buy the dvd when it comes out.
Now as far as politics go. I'm going to rant. I will apologize a head of time if I offend anyone but I'm sorry these are my views.
View #1: Stop trying to ban gay marriage. Everyone has the right to marry. The government should really not stick their nose in this matter since it's so "religious." I mean, what ever happened to the separation of church and state? You know if anything they should leave it up to the individual churches if they choose to wed them. Bottom line--the government needs to get out of the bad habit of sticking their nose in religious issues. When your working as a government official from 8am to 5pm or whatever your hours are, forget what religion you have and do what is right for the people, not because the bible said so. That is my opinion.
View #2: Gas prices are too damn high. Find alternative means for fuel such as chicken manure or cow eyes or something I mean goodness gracious. Why can't we use the dirt off our ground and somehow turn it into fuel? We do it with coal i mean we should find something like that but a more cleaner and efficient way. I remember when $10 could fill my tank up. Now it takes almost $20 and $25 to get to the full mark. That $20 can go towards something else like...something that I'll benefit from. Bottom line--Gas prices are too high. That is my opinion.
View #3: Continue stem cell research!!! This could be our missing link to finding cures for many diseases such as diabetes, AIDS, whatever. I don't think it is a bad idea period. This is my opinion.
I'm only going to state my three views. Trust me I have a bit more but I want to stay out of the war debate. My opinion--when it comes down to the nitty gritty we shouldn't be over there. This is my opinion. Anyways I'm sick of debating that topic. Ok well i'm going to go and...do things that one would do on sunday. :\
