I'm definitely due for an update.
Summer is over. This is tragic and sad. Can't talk about everything that is going on in life.. but here's some of the things going on..
I miss my children at Seven Bends daycare.. despite the fact that I'm sure they don't miss me, and I haven't forgotten what noisy creatures they can be.
I've started back at Mt. Calvary daycare, where I am now in charge of the afterschool program. My first day with this was absolutely insane. I almost didn't think I was going to make it. I had children giving me so much attitude.. and one girl even made threats on my life. They're learning though that I'm not going to tolerate that. They think I'm mean.. but until they learn to listen, I guess they won't get to see the fun side of me. I think it'll get better, but this isn't going to be easy. I still have a lot of things to get used to there too. At least it's a job. A minimum-wage paying job. *sigh*
I am very muchly looking forward to my upcoming travel. This weekend I'm driving to PA to see Rob Delaney, a former New Market pitcher from 2003. He's in AAA for the Twins. If I'm really really super lucky, I'll also get to see Brett Gardner on a rehab stint from the Yankees. That would be so amazing.
In about 3 weeks, my siblings and I are flying to San Francisco. We're staying with my Aunt Dawn and 5 cousins.. and it should be awesomely fun. We'll also go to an A's game and a Giants vs. Cubs game. We can't get away from the baseball!
I'm also missing Indiana. I technically can afford a quick trip back this fall.. but I don't know if Will will have time for me. I want to go see the new bridge at school. I really just miss being IN school too. It'd be nice if I could afford grad school sometime in the near future.
