Athena Kicked Ass...
The thick air leaking from between your lips, unfit for lore and legend, unlike zephyrs more and more. Hiding love-sick wispers as it burns away my flesh and soul.
One of my favorite words that I have ever come across is, 'Aegis.' It was years and years ago in a video game. 'Brell's Steadfast Aegis' was the name of a spell of protection, calling on the god: Brell. Since then (though I never had that spell, stupid cleric stuff of course...) I have loved the word. It means a lot of things, protection mostly. In greek mythology it was also goat skin. In particular the shield of Athena(with the head of medusa upon it.) Also, the breastplate of Zeus. YES! Both were made of goat skin. Latin readers would understand.
Anyways, I was going to write a whole bunch of mumbo-jumbo about such crap, but I think that would just be more than necessary. I guess that all I want to say is that having a shield is great, and you really need one when fighting any battle. However, you can't obtain anything that you want by siting behind some shield.
