(no subject)
Last night I spent 2 1/2 hours at the Flying Monkey building my very own person out of scraps (bicycle handles, tin cans, wire, etc.) at Jim's metal sculpting/building "class". I was pretty much in the zone with it, but I don't like how in turned out in the end, even though it's not finished. I think it ended up looking like a fairy or something. Also, I have two paintings up at the mall where the huge Fall to Winter painting used to be (sadly, it had to come down, but it's going to be put up on a wall at the Teen Shelter(?) and there's one painting Courtney G. and I did randomly. I have to fix my tree painting because it got kind of squished and I have to paint Greg a farm scene with very excited animated animals everywhere looking like they are happyhappyhappy to be alive (Vegan thing, I guess). I gave up meat for Lent (HA). I probably should have given up sodas, but I thought meat was more of a challenge-- for me atleast. Greg made me listen to a song with a dying pig at the beginning... it made my stomach turn. I'm still taking piano lessons and I've missed the past 4 weeks of Art. My Mom's getting a new car today-- Goodbye, mini-van! I want to go to Nashville and I want to see The Format. Today is Courtney G.'s birthday and I think I might hang out with her a little later. I'll post some pictures of my Fairy and other things later. Bye!
