How has everyone's Labor Day weekend gone? I go to school tomorrow and I've done nothing all weekend but stay at home and talk on the computer. XD Go figure; what an easy way to waste my life! And for some reason, I don't seem to be able to type correctly. Haha, I keep misspelling words and going back to refix them.
Well, I've estimated costs for my cosplay items and for the badges for the two cons I hope I get to attend (GenCon and MTAC)! It all comes out to be about $264 but I thought over working at 4 hours for each weekday at $5.15 per hour (my state's minimum wage) and then 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday - I'd get enough money before either of the cons come close! I mean, sure, I would spend some on food, gas, and maaaybe car insurance. Anyhoo, I'll make enough to attend both of those conventions and have money to buy stuff for people!
Heh heh, I'll be asking for money for my birthday as well (Feb. 3, be 18 baby!), so it's all going to be great. I'm just too excited to not talk about it. XD
Hmm hmm... Anything else to talk about? Well... Oh! I need to save up $20 for October and $10 for December this year. Fullmetal Alchemist novel 4 and volume 15 come out in October while Fullmetal Alchemist novel 5 comes out in December. I want to be able to buy them, so I need to save up some money, yeah?
Hey-hey, starting this month I get to teach at least one lesson a month to the 5th graders I cadet teach. YAY IT'LL BE SO MUCH FUN. And I can make up my own lesson plans once ISTEP is over (this test to see if you'll be able to graduate from high school; it's weird, but they make you take it from elementary to sophomore year so you understand what's been taught to you), so after October, I have a lesson planned on teaching them how to count from 1 to 10 in Chinese, Japanese, and French! It'll be AWESOME. They're all so excited I'm there for an hour each day and it's so cute when they wave bye to me when it's time to leave. D: I wish I could stay there the whole day. XD Bwahaha. SKIPPIN' MY SCHOOL TO BE IN ANOTHER SCHOOL.
