As ever, I'm in awe of the seemingly effortless way you paint pictures: the clowns "unfolding" from the car; the elephant anxiously braying in its pen; Xavier's delight and trust in his uncle, and Logan's honest enjoyment of his nephew, and, of course, the sunset. I love sunsets, but the sunset over Rome - mmmm, so beautiful.
Of course, no matter how much Logan has grown up, it's really good to know he can still bring it when he needs to, like this: “And that marks the end of round one,” Logan snarks, his lips twisting, eyes glowing with amusement. “I think we both know how easy it is to buy false allegations, but that’s the thing with trumped up charges, Tom,” Logan calmly fingers the photos in front of himself. “You have to have some sort of proof. That whole pesky “innocent before proven guilty” thing. If this is the hand you’re holding, you might want to fold.” God, I just love it.
My favorite part is Logan's conversation w/ Veronica, painful though it may be. It's so wonderful the way he soothes her, takes charge, and opens his heart - but more importantly, it felt real and believable - which is pretty interesting, considering the way this epic began.
I CAN'T WAIT to see what happens next - and you have to make sure that arrogant bastard, Tom, gets what's coming to him!!! *mwah*
Btw: minor typo - So Logan knew the minute Trina corned him on the subject, it’d be the grenade waiting to explode. I'm sure it was my screw-up. Sorry, baby.

The relationship that blossomed between Logan and Trina was so unexpected for me. But the idea of Xavier helped flourish the development of their relationship, and it all sort of went from there. God bless little Xavier. He's been such a calming influence, such in integral part of helping Logan find some balance and stability in family. I love that.
I _WISH_ any part of anything I write (wrote) was effortless, love. And you more than anyone knows the shit I spew out onto the page. -smirk- The rest of it is just the luck of being born with a terribly overactive imagination. But the hours I spent lounging in the tub (and this is very, very much the truth), picturing things, trying to smell them, trying to touch them so I can put them down into words... that's anything but effortless. If it's seemingly so, then faboo!
The epic began so differently than the direction it's taken, and even the direction it's heading. It's so funny how tone can be completely different... and yet, I still feel they're compatible. I didn't think I would. Sometimes I waiver, but... ultimately, I think we'll get back around to it in the end. I think it'll sit together as one piece. If I can ever actually find the finish line with this bitch. -grin- And if I can pry myself away from writing Sam and Dean. For fuck sake! Those two are so damn addictive.
Thanks for being with me, sweetheart, wherever I may roam.

Of course I know how much work and energy you put into your writing, but I also know how much of it percolates, fully formed, out of your feverishly creative brain. And - hey - if it takes a good soak to find it, who am I to quarrel with success? Regardless of how it happens, when it gets to the page, you're amazing, baby!
Not to belabor the point, but this epic began with anger and aggression and an overwhelming sexual & emotional dynamic between my two favorite characters ... and yet, there was always an underlying story that was more than just ... sex and madness. And it's wonderful to see it played out, to see the two come "full circle" as it were. I love that they're maturing, and, though still making mistakes, trying to take their relationship with them into the cold world of adulthood.
I know you've lost your passion for the characters, but it's still an effin' fantastic story, dear! *mwah*

I know you know... it's just the more I've been writing, and who knows better than you all the crap I've been churning out recently, the more I realize I'm so sick of deliberating over words! -stabs them violently- Heh. Issues.
YOU!! -gasp-

I LOVE YOU!!! Has it not been said to death between us... well. Here's the admission for the entire UNIVERSE. I LOVE RINDEE LOU WHO! That's it, you're writing the dust-jacket for my first novel. Okay? Okay!
I haven't quite _lost_ it. I feel like I've lost my direction for it. My God, honey... nothing in the world made me happier than writing Logan Fucking Echolls. I miss being able to write him. I hope I continue to have at least a little capacity. I think I'm going to lay in bed tonight and watch later eps of S1 on my laptop and just... get in character. -grin- Brush up, right? Thanks for all the cheerleading, babydoll. You look fuckin' fantastic in that skirt. -leer-
