However, something's not quite ... right about it. Maybe it might sound familiar to some people who've heard this annoying humming/singing before, but it really does sound

[Brooke is out and about at this time, still getting a feel for where everything is so hopefully she won't have to rely too much on the map Rydia gave her, when she sees the girl wandering around. ...Then she catches a glimpse of the head injury.]

Wha-hey! [She picks up her pace, trying to catch up.]

[Flonne, in the mean time, has absolutely no idea that that "hey" was directed at her and is therefore continuing on in her blissfully unaware state. At the very least she's moving slowly, so catching up to her won't be difficult.]

[Still moving to catch up...in fact she probably has caught up right about now.] Hey, are you okay? [Clearly she isn't considering her head is bleeding, but asking anyway will gives us an idea of if she's even partially coherent or not, right?]

Huh? [Turning to look at who's talking now-- oh hey, someone she doesn't know! Flonne gives as bright a smile as she can in her condition.] Oh yes, I'm all right! Are you okay?

[She doesn't even realize she's hurt? This could be bad.] I...uh...I'm fine, but your head...you're bleeding all over, here. We need to get you somewhere where someone can take a look at that, really fast.

I'm bleeding? [She touches her head, then looks at her hand afterward. ... Huh. Well, what do you know.] Oh my, I wonder how that happened?

How it happened doesn't matter right now, you have to have that cleaned up and bandaged. [A quick check of her map to see where...] Come on, the clinic's this way. [Trying to tug Flonne along, gently, but urgently.]

Huh? [All that processed through Flonne's mind was "cleaned up" and "clinic", along with the fact that she's being tugged. Her feelings on this?] Oh, okay! [Tug away, Brooke, as Flonne's totally fine with helping to clean the clinic or whatever you're taking her there to do.]

[Brooke's hoping that injury isn't too serious...but as with any head injury, she's going to have to assume that it is. If complications start to arise before they can make it to the clinic, she might have to take action...

It's unfortunate that she doesn't have the physical strength to simply pick Flonne up and carry her there, too, because that would be quicker than trying to pull her along like this.]

[Flonne's head injury isn't too serious, but the amount of blood she's lost due to it is approaching that level. Her steps are sluggish and uncoordinated, and she does look quite pale. It's possible for her to make it to the clinic in her condition, but she'll definitely be worse for wear by time she gets there.]

[This becomes clear relatively-quickly, and as such Brooke realizes that she needs to take action; if there was the possibility that they wouldn't get to the clinic quickly enough, something else would need to be done.

Immediately following this thought, she stops; if there wasn't time, she would just have to use the Emerald and hope it was enough. A faint crackle of greenish lightning begins to crawl along her left arm and gathers together in her hand as an intangible, glowing ball, which she will be bringing up to the injury and holding it to where the light itself touches Flonne. Hopefully it's enough...

[And it's super effective! ... Or at least effective enough that the bleeding is seeming to lessen. Flonne's still pretty woozy, but that magic definitely helped her out.]

Oh ... huh? Did you just use healing magic?

[Alright, so she bought some time. That's good, but Flonne still being kind of out of it is still worrisome.] Yeah. I'll explain it later if I have to, but for now let's keep going.

[This is becoming kind of trying, attempting to help someone who doesn't even seem to realize it. So. Just. Tug. Lightly, of course. Come on, Flonne, clinic's this way.]
