[Hm...Rosa could do with a gift to cheer her up, and there is that festival to be had soon. That's reason enough for her to peer at all the available flowers, trying to decide. After a few moments, she glances around.]

Hello! I was thinking about taking a gift to a housemate...and checking to see what might be available for a festival, too. A friend of mine was interested in having one, soon.

A festival ...? Ohhh, I think I know what you mean -- I think the person in charge of it was talking to me earlier! Um, but anyway, do you know what kind of flower you want to give your housemate?

[She pauses to consider that other question.]

Roses could be appropriate, given her name...but anything else you might recommend that could help cheer her up would be lovely. Something bright, to brighten her mood.

Hmmmm ... we certainly do have plenty of roses, but as for other flowers ... maybe some irises or geraniums? [She starts slowly walking towards the garden with a thoughtful look on her face, muttering to herself about which type would be best for a "cheering up" situation.]

[Rydia follows, nodding a little at the ideas.]

Irises have such a pretty color, though I think she might favor the geraniums. I think I'll leave the roses for her husband to retrieve, when he returns.
