is that what you love her for?

there is nothing better than spending time with the people you love.

that's exactly how i've been using my first few days of summer.

vanessa and i got WET AND WILD on friday, then shopped like crazy. i can't believe she's leaving on wednesday. ack.

going to the beach with my sisters, sharon and dave reminded me of times when i actually enjoyed going to the beach (it's been a while since going to the beach hasn't felt like some sort of...grotesque fashion show). we were practically alone, flew kites, searched for crabs/sand fleas, and battled the waves.

today felt carefree. i got to see thea, graham, and vanessa, and couldn't imagine a better way to spend my sunday.


shoot, even if you're not a christian, these are good words to live by. i'm mainly posting them because they've become increasingly significant to me over the past month or so, and thought they should be shared.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
