light is returning

Yesterday, my son and I hung out the birdfeeder.  As I stepped out the back door into the snow, the sun warmed my skin.  I took a breath of gratitude and rejoiced that for the first time since mid-November the sun is strong enough to actually touch and warm the skin.  Sigh

Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. I love every reminder that spring is lurking. Just this morning at the bus stop, my daughter, ten-years old, said that she could smell spring in the air. I can't wait.
