I've been really into quotes lately, I'm thinking of just jotting all the ones I like into a little book and creating my own little book of quotes. I think that'd be lovely, don't you? I feel so utterly distant from all my lj friends. It must seem that I don't read your journals, but believe me, I do.
I told the boy I've been fancying that I liked him. It was over msn though (lame!), I wish I hadn't told him over msn but I've been keeping it in for so long that I just had to tell him no matter what. So I did. He likes me too though, but we've decided not to talk about it any further until we're speaking to each other face to face. I'm nervous, slash(/), excited! Isn't that just absolutely silly though?
I'm at the poetry unit for my Writer's Craft class and I must say, I despise it! Nothing against poetry lovers but it's just not for me. Although, I do think a few of Shakespeare's sonnets are just lovely...
Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
