first day of classes! (or not)
Okay, today started out terrible, but it was completely my fault. Basically, I didn't wake up till 12 noon.. sooo yeah, I missed like.. half my classes. x_x;; I feel pretty bad.. but oh well. I'll make it to my other 2.
I went to the bathroom, and it's awesome 'cause there's a radio in there! (dun know who put it there) And it plays the greatest music. It played Death Cab for Cutie! (I had no idea that they would be popular enough to be played on a radio station.).. and some Franz Ferdinand (which I of course sang to).
Eh, okay, so I went to my EE 306 class, where I saw.. Travis! (Anderson) .. and Valerie again. I sat next to this decently good looking guy, but he didn't talk to me till the very end of class, asking about the class. And on the other side of me was a girl who went to 2 of the classes that I had missed earlier, so I talked to her and got her ph. number. (Natta)
Eh, so Valerie and I went to Kinsolving to eat (where I got way too much food).. and then we went to this Women in Engineering Program, where I got a lei and more food. Okay, now I know why the "Freshman 15" exists. Eh, we broke into groups, and I met this girl who was from Plano East (the city and the school), and when I hear "Plano East", the first thing that comes to mind is Matt Vera. And so I ask if she knows him, and not only does she know him, but she tells me that he's a double E fiend too! Woah! I have so not seen him yet. Eh, and this other girl is from Ceder Hill. And the rest of them came from places that I've never heard of.
And then I had to rush back to the dorm for a Whitis Hall meeting. Ooh! On the way there, I saw Chong! And I called out to him, but he didn't hear me, so his Asian guy friend are like, "Chong. There's a girl. And she's calling you." And so he looks back at me, and his face just looks really confused for 2 seconds or so.. and then it lights up, and he's like, "Oh! Hey!" lol .. and blehhh more food at the dorm meeting.. dude, I tell you, they're just on a mission to make me fat! When you see me again, I'll be like 50 lbs. heavier. -_-;
Oh! Speaking of running into Math Campers, I saw Aaron (Chujiao's/Karen's counselor) just yesterday at the engineering gathering.
Eh, after the meeting, we hang out in my room.. we had some pretty interesting conversations going.. at one point, this girl Dacia (she's a "white Asian" 'cause she's studying Chinese culture and has all these Asian things.. James and I are the only Asians in our dorm, and we approve) asked James for his name (they'd barely met), and he's like, "Oh. You can just call me the supreme genius of the universe." And she replies, ".. wasn't it just James?" LOL! pwnage!! :D omfg.. that was sooo great :P
And then later, James was telling us how he's grown up, and he's more mature, and he's learned to control his hormones. "If I were 14, and in this situation, I'd be trying very hard to conceal my erection." LOL wtf.. lol
Okay, so after the dorm meeting, they had another meeting somewhere else, and by this time, I'm very tired of meetings, so I decided to ditch it (it was optional), and I went to James's room to watch FMA. Eh.. it was pretty awesome.. but then after a while, I claimed that I was hungry (WTF? Where is this hunger coming from? I just ate 3 times in less than 2 hours!).. and so we made Ramen. :D lol.. (and by "we", I mean, he made it.. I just watched and ate it)
Eh.. went back to my room.. and I got more additions on Facebook! (by Steven and Sarah) .. hm.. and now Steven's talking to me about joining anime clubs and how awesome the connection speed is here for downloading anime, and so I told him to just come here. :P ..but he can't visit 'cause his school starts in 2 days.. boo.. you (Massachusetts-school) whore.. it really is a whore 'cause it stole all the people that could've visited me had they started later! :(
Ooh, Charlotte (the girl that I'd met on the bus earlier) also invited me to eat lunch with her! Yay!
Right, and by this time, I'm supposed to be asleep with my laptop turned off 'cause not doing that had resulted in me oversleeping much today. So I do turn it off and go to sleep.. at 2:30 (which is about 3 and 1/2 hours after when I was supposed to have done that)
