Happy new year everyone! Hope you all had a fantastically lovely evening, and your new year is going smashingly. My new years eve was delightful.
We had Abraham's mum and her partner over for dinner (Marinated scotch fillet steaks, roast pumkin and carrots, a huge salad and orange syrup cakes with raspberry sauce and mixed fresh berries! YUM!), as it was their anniversary too! We chatted, caught up on each others news, played a game of monopoly in which I did very, very badly like usual, and generally had a nice quiet time.
Last year was a very big year for us. what with having our first baby, and the struggles and sleepless nights that come with that, and moving house, my epilepsy still not being under control, Abraham's mum getting sick etc. It was a year with a lot of firsts, a lot of learning and a LOT of self discovery. All in all it's been on of the hardest and best years so far, and I'm so grateful.
I'm hoping this year follows in even better form. I'd like to get my epilepsy sorted this year, I'd like to get my website sorted, I'd like Abraham to get his license and for us to get a car, If that happens I'd like to have a market stall on Saturdays, I'd like to do more sewing and screen printing and I'd like to lose the remaining 18 kilos and get to my goal weight too. That would be lovely.
We wish you all a very prosperous and lovely, loving 2006!
