Until I stopped texting first.
Until I stopped tagging them on social media.
Until I stopped making the plans and inviting them.

I’m 40. When does this shit stop happening?
I have cried every day since I turned 40 because none of my close “friends” even bothered to make plans to celebrate my big birthday. Fuck them. They aren’t worth my tears but goddamn it fucking hurts.
