So I've known this guy for 11 years and we've always been the best of friends in 2008 we lost touch but in 2009 we started talking again ... Our moms have been best friends for many years . i guess it depends on how old you are, but typically, ... relationships in middle school aren't relationships. they're just not. relationships in high school can be somewhat of a relationship, but they're really just the start of something, and oftentimes if you marry someone at that age, it's still a bit early... the true men come out in college when you're there, being independent and all... that's when people start to realize themselves and become who they want to be ... so in short, they won't pull a "i changed on you" kind of a thing.. and so, i think maybe what you're looking for is a more stable, caring, dedicated relationship and you should go seek someone else as a romantic partner. you can still be somewhat friends with this guy, but it's kind of clear he made up his mind for the moment being...
