A very full day. Emily and I headed out around 11 to meet Sidney, headed over to the school to get Emily's phone and then went searching for the daily market. Eventually found it & I bought cherries, strawberries, & peaches. I was parched so eventually I bought a Coke. We started looking for a supermarket, but never found it because Hillary called about going to the beach. We headed back to change & grabbed some croissants. Ended up at this tiny strip of sand, but definitely got a tan and got into the water a bit. Then walked around & eventually did find that supermarket, where I bought some drinks & some yogurt, which will hopefully work out for a bit. No cookies, couldn't get myself to try them. Pear huice, though, so 4 kinds of fruit. Agreed to meet up later & headed home. Emily made some steamed vegetables while I just sat there. Headed out to just walk around later on. Tried getting in touch w/ people, but that didn't end up working. Got my first gelato, where the guy working was very helpful in trying to get me to say stuff. Ate out on the street. Some guys on a scooter thought Emily was Russian? Came home & tried to watch some Italian version of a Western. Our roommate eventually came home & soon after we headed upstairs. Day felt much fuller than it sounds on here.
