Al says he got it from the book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which I haven't read but we watched the movie while I was there last week, although I fell asleep during it and really didn't find it that enjoyable. Anyways, that quote gave me shivers the first time I read it because it's just SO visual. I absolutely love it.
