It defenitley didn't take much convincing to get Spike to go out onto the streets, once there he seemed a bit less irritated, and after a few fights I'd dare to say he might actually be enjoying himself. What really matters, though, is that I'm having the first real fun since I joined up with the new Wolfram and Hart

Girl didn’t seem so bad yet. Only ran into a few big bads, nothing major yet but she showed her skill. Have to say it reminded me a bit of another slayer, one I won’t think of much anymore. Doesn’t do me any good thinking bout her.
Didn’t take to long before we ran into some real trouble. Big whole group of them to. Now this would be fun. Feel like the good old days of the little walk abouts in Sunnydale. Didn’t get to have any fun like this since I came here. Always stuck up in that building fighting stupid battles that make no difference. Can’t kill the things that actually make a different. Wouldn’t be surprised if somehow these guys were related to one of Angel’s major clients.
Just throw in a few blows here and there, snap a neck then another. Wasn’t that hard at all. Could tell these guys were just fledglings. Thought they were all big and bad in a large number of them but not bad at all.
The two of us finished off the first group of them but it seemed like there was another one coming at us. Standing back to back we watched as they circled us. Felt nice working with a slayer again. “Alright love you start with that side and I’ll start with this side.” I say in a soft voice as they continue to move in closer to us.

Just when I'm finished with the first bunch I see another gang headed our way. Good thing I don't tire easy. I back up to where Spike is standing and they all but surround us.
“Alright love you start with that side and I’ll start with this side.”
I chuckle and peek over my shoulder at him. "last one to finish thier half buys drinks?" I wouldn't mind a couple free drinks...

"Time to get to work." I said right before charging at them. They charged right on back. What else was I even expecting. Course they tired doing the whole little gang up on me thing but I wouldn't let that work. Punch one in the face while dodging the other ones fist.
"Think your all bad" I say at the one while he gives me a dirty look. He draws back his arm and just as he's bout to punch me I move to the side and grab hold of the other one pushing him right into the punch "Punching your own men? Now that doesn't seem right does it." I smile then quickly punch him. The two of them now laying on the ground.
I reach into my pocking pulling out the stake that I brought with me. Quickly I deliver a swift blow to the heart of the one and then the other with the stake, leaving them as nothing but a pile of dust. Before I even get a chance to do anything another few come towards me.
"Could go all night with these guys."

A bunch of them immedeatley gang up on me, figuring I'm easier target. Surprise time. I let the first one roll right over my back, then use one for leverage as I throw a foot into the other's face, reminding myself I don't have time to enjoy myself if I want to earn that free drink.
"lively for undead types, huh? not much for conversation though." I land a fist to the chest of one to my right. I never banter much, but then I never met an enemy who really wanted to. I usually got the regular, 'now you die, slayer,' and that was about that for chitchat.

"Oh lookie there your friend is gone. Now what are you going to do" The vampire was actually stating to get a scared look on his face. It was classic. Couldn't believe the damn thing.
"Oh come on, giving up that soon." He turned around like he was going to run but before he could I grabbed hold of him and turned him round pushing the stake through his heart. "Wasn't so bad now was it" I say looking down at the dust that was now in place of him.

The impact makes my head spin for a second, but only makes me angrier, good thing for me, bad for the vampire. I pick up my axe and pummel him a little before slicing his head off in one swift motion. Annoyed, I start cutting through the crowd that way, till I reach the last vampire, glance over at Spike, and stake it with the sharpened end. I smile as both vampires turn to dust.
"hey, you're not bad."

Well, ok it might. Of course I wasn't going to get any cheap drinks for the lady and I and since we had the money you could say to do so why not go all out on this.
"So, wahtcha say bout that?" I say as I walk closer towards her.

I giggle as he comes over next to me.
"I say...it's awfully nice of Angel to pick up the tab like that."
I latch on to the arm of his jacket with my fingers and give him a little tug in the direction we're going to go. "comeon, I know just the place." With a little tug he follows me and we head down the street toward a club I like to frequent. Having him around brings out a part of me that occasionally gets me in a little trouble. Maybe it was the obvious bad boy attitude.

She tugged on my arm and showed me where to go for the good club. "Good to know someone round here knows where all the good drinks I. Still haven't done much venturing out here. Always up in that bloody office."
I sighed. I really did need to get out more again. Wasn't my style to just stay up in one place like that. Though they did have good drinks in Angel's office and little apartment. The best you could even say.
Yea it, he sold his soul for fancy cars, nice apartment, expensive alcohol and an empire of evil to run. Sounds about right now doesn’t it.

I smirk. "is that an issue?" Even if I had been spying for Angel, after tonight's events we'd both be in deep shit with him. It would probably just kill him to know anyone was having some sort of fun.
"for someone who has such a disdain for wolfram and hart, you sure seem to spend alot of time there."
I caught the bouncer's eye and gave him a sweet smile, sure enough, within a few minutes he worked his way down the velvet rope toward us. "alright sweetie, you're in." I smile, then pause a remember, grabbing Spike's hand. "him too." That's the way bouncers eye you, up and down. But I know I hold enough wieght to get atleast one other person into the club. After a moment he shrugs and looks at me. "yeah, whatever..." I shoot Spike a smile since I've just worked enough magic to get us bumped up to the front of a considerably long line and right into the club.

"Yea well, got nothing better to do I suppose. You know trying to do the whole good fight thing. Sides I get to bug the hell out of Angel, that alone makes it worth it."
As much as I hated the place I liked staying around. Gave me a sense of home, a place I could belong. Was even part of the team a bit. Something like back in Sunnydale though this one seems a bit better. Sides Angel the others actually like me a tad bit. More then any of them did over at Sunnydale. Don't really think any of them liked me sides the little bit and Buffy well that was another story.
Hate waiting in lines for this soddin' places. Been around long enough where they should just let me on in. Course though, the bouncer was going to notice her. Then again who wouldn't notice a pretty little bird like herself.
Bit surprised when I felt her warm hand grab hold of mine. Realized just what it was for, to get me in. The sod didn't seem like he was for it at first but finally he said ok. "Seems like our girl here knows how to pull some ropes." I say as we head on inside.

"wouldn't it be pretty sad if he was? spying on you? Sitting up in his big empty office, living vicariously through your fun?" The idea does make me sad. I mean I know it's not actually happening, but that picture was so much different from the humorless, boring tyrant I'd immedeatley figured him to be. And yet something about it rung very true.
Spike seems marginally impressed and I'll tell you that's more than enough for me. My talents that aren't slaying rarely come in handy, really.
"Seems like our girl here knows how to pull some ropes."
I grin. "well that is true." I don't let go of his hand, weaving through the crowd and attracting more than a few interested looks as we head for the bar. "you haven't been in LA long have you?"
Reply
She continued to hold onto my hand leading us through the coward till we got the bar. This girl really was something, which I kept on thinking the more and more I spent some time with her.
"Been in LA a few times but recently haven't been here long. Well have been here for a bit but spent most of my time up in that building. Finally getting out again."
Felt like I was some specail person right now, with the looks she was gettin'. Bet all the other sods in here wish it was them with her. Not that it meant anything with us but still the picture was painted. Least for all their eyes.

"Oh you don't have to tell me I already heard the speech about the great and magnificent Buffy. I heard she can do anything, probably has lazer vision and can fly, too."
He answers my question and I gladly jump topics, as much as I love sarcasm, my idea of a fun night out does not include, buffy averted this apocalypse stories. I much prefer stories in which I'm the main character.
"I love LA. It comes with one guarantee- there's always someone crazier than you here. Always."
It's a bit of a chore finding an open table but I manage to pull it off, it was one of those classy joints with the bar off to the side, and a small seating area overlooking the dance floor. For here I could both see and be seen, what I primarily came to these places for. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the throbbing music, grinding bodies, and hard liquor, but if you wanted to strip it down to the core it was all about attention. Who's I was getting and who was priviledged enough to get mine.
"well, let's order up and see if you have the courage to come dance with me or not."
Reply
"Really like that line" I say to her little comment bout LA and how you can always find someone crazier then yourself here.
We got ourselves a nice table "Really is a nice place here." I say as I sit down and take another look round the place.
"Order away." I say with a smirk "Actually want me to dace with you." This should be interesting. Can't say I don't mind dancing with a pretty bird like herself.

"It's one hundred percent true. Sometime I'll take you down to Venice beach to see the crazies. They're fun. There's this one guy who dresses up like a tree."
Yes I was making plans already, Spike had been the first person I'd encountered at Wolfram and Hart who hadn't patted me on the head and tried to tell me how much I had to learn. Trust me, I know plenty.
A guy comes around and takes our drink order, I plan to get lightly toasted tonight.
"Actually want me to dance with you."
I smirk, the cockiness is funny, and there's no way I'm not going to poke fun at him.
"It's amazing, you should have seen it, your head actually grew just now. I think it's atleast three more inches in diameter..."
