TIMELINE SUMMARY: I will be picking Loki after the last time he is summoned, just before he is shoot through his stomach and has to go back to the spirit world in order to heal himself. In this timeline, he does not know that the Fairy Tail has been abduced by the power of Anima neither that Lucy is in danger of death. And he is still injured for the attack.
PERSONALITY:
The first thing we can say to describe Loki's personality is that he is a womanizer. If he is around any pretty girl, he will try to flirt with her until she accepts go on a date or ends punching him and leaving. While this trail has changed a bit since he became Lucy's Stellar Spirit, he now does it most of the time with Lucy herself. Which does not mean he will not try it sometime.
But, besides that part of him, Loki is a loyal friend. And with this I mean that he will protect and fight against those who dared to touch his friends. Or even so, go against everybody in order to save a friend, as he did to save Aries from the abusive Karen in the past.
Also, since he has been under Lucy's command, he has become overprotective of her. Not only because she was the one who allowed him to go back to Stellar World, but also because he seems to have some strong feelings for her. And that he does not forgive those who dare to lay a finger over on her. Sometimes, he refers to himself as "her knight in shiny armor", just because due to the great feelings he has for her.
Loki is a person that feels guilty and sometimes cries when he feels like it. Not all the time, but when something bad is happening, and he thinks it is his fault, there is a high chance that he would feel guilty because of it. Which makes him have a really huge human side, that can be justified with all the time he stayed in the Human World.
He can also be stubborn sometimes, in matters that refers to his own self. As when he was determined to die for his sin and Lucy tried to stop him from doing such a thing. In that moment, he showed that part of him did not deserve salvation and continued being stubborn in his death wish. Or when he stayed in the Human World even if that was hurting him enough like to almost killing him.
Not only that, Loki is a person that finds hard to forgive someone after that person made something unforgivable. That includes himself too when he feels guilty for killing Karen indirectly. Depending on the person and the action, he can react different to that. If someone hurts a friend, he would probably act hostile towards that person. If it is himself, he would probably take all the blame of it and carry with it all by himself.
And, even if he is not technically a "human", he does not consider himself an empty doll. On the opposite, that simple thought makes him angry in a incredible way. To him, Stellar Spirits are living creatures, and for him, love makes him gain power.
SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Loki' Magic is used though his ring, and uses the Light Regulus to attack. He is a melee spirit, which means he is powerful in battle compared to some other spirits. The ring power's up Loki, and he uses claws and punchs made of the light to strike his enemies.
As far as known, he has currently used two techniques in the series. If he has any other, it is has not been stated yet.
► Zenith of Regulus: Lion Brillance. This attack is used most of the time to blind people with a great amount of light in a radius near Loki. It is only for a short period, but it seems to be pretty effective.
► Regulus Impact: In this attack, Loki moves with a powerful punch to strike the enemy, with a huge face of a lion that's made out of light. One of his most powerful attacks as far, and he even wrote "I Love Lucy" in a wall using the light of this attack.

He could sense that she was in danger in that fight. The woman that risked her life in order to save him from his own sin. A sin that he carried during three years and that nobody knew about it in that time. But she managed to know after all.
She as special to him. The Stellar Spirit of Leo moved in that world and made his appearance in that fight. His gaze was firm and severe, looking at his enemy without blinking in any moment. He was not going to forgive that he dared to touch her.
"I won't forgive you for hurting Lucy."
His words were as firm as his eyes. His friend and love, those were things he did not have the right to hurt. And Loki a determined to make him pay for it. "Stand back, Lucy. I will take care of this myself." his serene voice said after rising his arm as a gesture of protection towards her.
But, at the same time, he knew she was not going to let him have this battle alone. That was how strong their bond was, and Loki knew that was the reason he would be always next to her. And when he heard her voice answering her resolve, he could not help that small smile on his lips.
She was the reason that he could still be living after his sin. Even if the sin was not completely gone in his heart, he could felt how he was living for Aries's sake. Until he could find her again and show the great Stellar Spirit Mage he met.
Live for a friend and fight for them. That was his resolve and there was no one that was going to change that. He would go against anybody who dared to touch any of his friends. And so, he fought next to the woman that was his reason to live.
