It's fun to pronounce it sal-mon, just to see people's annoyed reactions. Their faces get red, and they clench their firsts, screaming, "It's Sah-mun! Sah-mun!!!!" At which point in time their heads explode, followed by a shower of salmon colored confetti.
Did you know that Stern is the German word for star? Of course, we always expected you to be a star in your own right.
