[Ever been lucky?]
Luck has nothing to do with it. In Tree Hill luck doesn't just happen. You make your own luck. I wouldn't be where I am today without my own decisions. I wouldn't be a Charleston Chief had I not crashed the pro-tryouts. And now I'm a point guard, Lucas' old position. But that didn't come from luck. It came from work. Life is work. Marriage is work. Sports is work. It's all work. Being a father? That takes work. It doesn't take luck. Jamie may not have been planned but he's the best thing I've done in my life, marrying Haley was the second best, and crashing the pro-tryouts was the third.
But none of that stemmed from any kinda luck.
You have to make your own luck if you want what you want to happen. You can't just sit back and wait for something to happen. You make it happen. You make the luck, you make with the -- making.
It's logic. Luck isn't logic. And I wasn't always a guy for logic. Hell, I stole a bus once. But this, this is logical.
