Summary: Maria is the lonely girl that is head over heels for some guy that saved her from gangsters, and her best friend Cindy is in love with his best friend who just happens to live across the street. As Cindy watches him from the window, Maria encourages her to pursue love, not forgetting her own encounters with fate.
A/N: I started this like, January, and I still haven't finished it... I blame my procrastination and overall lack of focus. *headdesk* It got deleted when my acc got hacked, but here it is again! For Cindy's enjoyment and so I can finish it.
Cindy ran downstairs, being happily chased by Mir and Joon. They had decided to play tag, after being on a major sugar high from eating about 10 pieces of cake. Per person.
She laughed and ran outside as Joon cut her off from the side, knocking her down like a quarterback in a football team. [I bet he was wishing he could touchdown ROTFLOL 8D] Mir ran over to them and they started tickling her.
“AHAHAH!!! STOP! I CAN'T BREATHE!!!” She laughed happily as they laughed too, when Hae walked by talking with Yuri. They both stopped in their tracks, and Cindy immediately stopped laughing as they just stared at each other.
“C....Cindy.....” Hae looked away, not knowing what to say as if a lump was in his throat causing him to refrain from saying anything more. He was holding hands with someone other than his girlfriend, and of all the people who had to see, it was the one person he still cared about.
Joon angrily jumped up and hit him, but before he could do anything more, Cindy jumped up and held him back, “STOP! It's not worth it...” She looked at Hae and smiled, “I knew it was too good to be true. Have fun with the person you really care for.”
Hae looked shocked as she walked by him, seemingly as if he didn't even exist, and Joon looked like he wanted to kill him, but Mir silently pushed him by, following Cindy.
Maria sighed and sat beside Leeteuk. It was slowly getting colder, and she shivered in her sleeveless dress. He noticed and took off his coat, softly putting it over her shoulders, “We can't have you getting sick...” She smiled and put her hand over his on her shoulder.
“Thank you for being there... I don't even know you that well... but you've been so nice...” His heart skipped as he thought about how she made him feel. And somehow, he promised himself that even if they didn't know each other now, he'd get to know every detail, and show her the love she was lacking at this moment. [T__T <3 why so awesome Leeteuk?]
“Come with me.” He suddenly jumped up, and pulled her after him, as they ran to a middle floor of the building, showing a completely huge room, theater style, with a stage and piano in the middle. It was every singer/songwriter's dream.
Her eyes widened as he led her to the stage and turned on the mic, and sat down at the piano. “Here you can sing out all your pain... I'll stay here to play along with you all night if you need me to.”
She wanted to cry from how sweet this boy was, but softly sang out her heart, somehow sounding angelic as he lost all ability to function and he just stared at her.
Joon had always come to the “empty” auditorium to think to himself, and he thought it would be a good idea to bring Cindy to clear her thoughts.
They were followed by Mir, and Seung Ho, who was looking bored, playing with his chubby lips, when he saw them walking and thought it was a soul train, so he followed.
They sat down in the back, and Joon led Cindy to a place under the seats where you could lay down and think. He lied down beside her and they listened to her pretty voice and felt at peace.
“Here's my phone number, in case you ever need anything...” He smiled and reached her a piece of paper, “I'll always be here when you need me.”
He reached over and higged her again, leaving her with a warm heart.
The girls woke up with swollen eyes from crying and a headache. They had stayed up all night singing and talking with the waiters and Leeteuk. Joon and Leeteuk had walked them home, hugging them, and making sure the girls knew they were right across their apartment if they needed anything.
Suddenly, Joon burst through the door smiling, with an open white button up shirt and a pair of long shorts.”Cindy!!! Maria!!! Get up! Get ready! We're gonna have breakfast at Leeteuk's, then we're going somewhere we can swim! Wear a bikini though!”
“Whah? Why?” Cindy complained and fell out of the bed, landing on her head with a thud, but he had ran back out before she had fell.
“Oh... you okay?” Maria was still half asleep, rubbing her eyes, as she took Cindy's hand and helped her up, then left the room to shower. “You can have the shower in our room, I need to tell Chloe where we're going...”
“Oh.... okay...” Cindy yawned and ran into the bathroom to get ready, somewhat excited to be spending the day with Joon. Her new “friend” was so sweet and comforting, and he came around at the perfect time. He was like a prince, while to Maria Leeteuk was her knight in shining armor. [<3 8D ]
They walked over to the apartment across the hall and knocked in the door, and it was immediately open by Leeteuk, wearing [ONLY ROTFLOLOL JKJKJKJK] an apron and holding a spatula covered with strawberry icing. “Hey! You came earlier than I thought you would!” He smiled his dimpled smile, making Maria's heart flutter unexpectedly.
“Oh? Should we go back to our apartment and wait?” Cindy asked, her mouth full of berries she had randomly grabbed on the way out.
“What? No! Joon is in the living room watching TV so you can go sit with him if you want!” Cindy looked at her blushing friend, and realized how equally swollen her eyes were from last night. Deciding that Maria needed a distraction from the boy who broke her heart, she pushed Maria in Teuk's arms, saying “Maria can't cook! Teach her so I won't die when Chloe gets married too.”
The two blushed and immediately separated, as Cindy excused her way past them to meet Joon.
“Good morning!” He smiled and motioned for her to sit beside him as she blushed and sat down, leaving a seat in between them on the couch.
“Good morning...” Her voice was considerably lower than his, making him smile at her shyness. To him, it made her even more adorable. “What are you watching?” Her sudden interest made him almost jump and he pointed to the TV, and said “Candy music video... It's by HOT.” Even though he was thinking 'I'm watching you, as always!'
They watched TV and laughed and talked together about various things, and suddenly Cindy didn't feel as shy any more, he was such a good person.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Maria looked blank watching Leeteuk make eggs. [ROTFLOL YES REAL EGGS TYVM ;-;] The way he used his hands while he worked was almost an art. His lips curled when he would try to not break the yolk, and he would smile to show he was pleased when it turned out perfectly. And it always did.
“Do you want to try?” He smiled and reached out an egg, but she denied, flailing and freaking out. “Oh! No you go ahead! I've never made eggs before!” He laughed [so cutely ;-;<3] and placed it in her hand.
“I'll teach you. Don't worry about breaking this one, we can make as many eggs as it'll take to get it right.” He put his arms around her from behind, and guided her hands in breaking the egg, and pulling the shell apart, and the result was perfection. “See? Perfect... Wasn't so hard, was it?”
She smiled happily and shook her head no as he took over in frying it, stating that he didn't want her to burn herself, as she was known for by all. She blushed, completely feeling doomed that even he had heard about her burning down the kitchen.
He looked over at her red face and smiled warmly. Somehow, every face she made found a way into his heart, making him love every little thing about her.
“Is breakfast almost ready??? I'm STARVING!!!” Joon suddenly appeared, followed by Cindy.
“I just finished. Let's eat.”

Meanwhile, at the apartment, Chloe sat on the couch eating ramen, watching TV. She wondered what Gabby and AJ were doing, then face-palmed herself. Everyone knows what they're doing. Stupid thought.
At that moment, her hand was still on her forehead, the doorbell rang. She slowly opened it, revealing Onew. He smiled and waved, attempting a sexy smirk, but failing miserably and just looking weirdly adorable. “Hi!”
“Hi.... What brings you here?” She felt super nervous since she they were now the only ones there.
“I had a feeling you wouldn't have a date today, so I came to volunteer!” He looked away at the “volunteer” line and nervously coughed.
“Oh? Really?” He nodded as they both blushed, “I suppose I could use a date.”
He tried to look cool and lean against the wall, but he missed by about 3 feet, and fell to the floor, leaving Chloe about to pass out from laughter.
“BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA”

“You got the beach ball?” Leeteuk looked at his clipboard and read off things he had written down to take.
“Check” Joon was in charge of making they were there.
“Blankets?”
“Only found two.”
“CHECK! UHHH.... WHATS NEXT...!!!“
The girls watched the boys run off the list in nervous (almost scared) anticipation.

The four friends got into the car, happily anticipating the day of fun ahead of them. Cindy sat in the back of the car and happily hummed to the radio as Leeteuk started the car, and smiled over at the girl beside him. She looked pale as they drove along, apparently carsick.
“Was it the eggs? Did I do it wrong?” He looked worried as she shook her head no, saying she just needed some fresh air, and rolled down her window.
Joon sat beside Cindy while flipping through cds like a madman. He was looking for a particular song he and his fellow friends at the ramen shop had written and performed, called “Oh Yeah” or something.
He finally found the CD and reached it to Maria, but Leeteuk, being the awesome driver he is, got it himself, slightly swerving while doing so. “AISH LEETEUK WATCH WHERE YOU'RE DRIVING! I DON'T WANNA DIE UNTIL I HAVE NO ABS LEFT!” Joon yelled while laughing, and the driver giggled as he inserted the disk and the addictive song started playing.
He sang along and danced in his seat while Cindy smiled and clapped her hands to the beat. Maria clapped along too, and much to their disapproval the driver followed suit.
“Look! It's GD and TOP!” Leeteuk took both hands off the wheel to point at the two friends walking out of an expensive store playing with their new phones.
Maria looked almost green when she saw his hands off the wheel, but they quickly went back to their original position and he looked at her and smiled his adorably dimpled smile.
Cindy was busy wondering about what kind of phone famous people would buy, when her phone beeped, alerting her of a new text message. Her face fell when she saw the sender of the text, and she felt her heart sink. It was from Hae. She wondered if she should open it, and was almost afraid of what it would say.
“Sorry.” Was all that it said. She felt herself become angry instead of hurt as she threw her phone at Maria's head.
“WOAH WHAT?!?!?!” She stared at her friend with a scared and shocked expression.
“Read it.” Maria was scared and immediately obeyed her friend, becoming a girl with fiery eyes after reading. She almost said something, but immediately became aware of her surroundings, and sighed, “Don't worry, I'll take care of this immediately.”
Maria was like the avenger. Whenever she found out someone she cared about got hurt, she would immediately find the person at fault, and make them pay for it. No one could escape her grasp once she set her eyes on that person. It was a rumor that she half killed all the boys in her hometown, but she said all of that was bologna. She smiled evilly as she licked her lips. It sometimes scared people how much she enjoyed making men cry, but it just attracted Leeteuk more. [wth is this LOL]
He knew the tension in the car was a bit uncomfortable for Joon however, so he decided to lighten the mood. “I have a great surprise for you guys when we get there!”
The others looked at him expectantly, and he smiled proudly. He felt like such a leader this way. “We're gonna be in teams half the day.”
They were about to ask him what he meant, but they had just pulled in, and he jumped out of the now parked car and stretched. “Okay kids! Go change!”
Maria didn't like being called a kid by someone like him, but she figured he must like her anyway, since he's spending so much time around her. She and Cindy ran to the bathrooms and changed into their clothes, Cindy wearing a purple bikini, with a white off the shoulder t-shirt, and black shorts; while Maria wore a green bikini, and a black off the shoulder t-shirt, and black shorts with a lime green stripe on the sides.
The boys stared at their attractive bodies, and the girls hearts stopped, when they saw the boys.
Joon was practically dripping with honey. Wearing only his long trunks, which were red, his abs glistened in the sun. His hair was slightly damp since he had already ran out to the water and splashed around.
Leeteuk was wearing similar trunks that were blue and white. He had on a necklace with wings on it and his hair was put up in a tiny pony-tail. Maria almost fell over at his awesomeness, and Cindy felt a liquid coming out of her nose.
“CINDY! YOUR NOSE IS BLEEDING!!!” Maria stood there in shock and Cindy blushed.
“NO! IT'S THE HEAT FROM THE SUN!” Cindy ran back into the bathroom as Maria giggled and looked at Teuk quickly, as he slightly shook his hair to the side, smiling his adorable dimpled smile. [I think I mention that every chapter LOLOLOL]
“So Maria, you ready to go with team one?” He grinned as she blushed, nodding her head in a yes. He reached out his hand and found her fitting perfectly in his. As he led her out to a shack, her eyes lit up in excitement when she saw what he was bringing her to.
In front of them were two horses, side by side. “I was told you like horses...” He smiled as he saw her ecstatic, jumping up and down and running over to touch them. She was hugging the particularly beautiful pure white one, making him smile even bigger.
“Are we going to have to fight over the white horse?” He giggled as she shook her head. “Of course not! You can just take the brown one!” He laughed as she smiled hugely at him, and hugged him. It shocked him that she would hug him on her own, but he knew it was only a thank you. (or was it? ;D]
“Thank you...” He felt saddened with an unknown weight over his heart, knowing that this embrace most likely wouldn't last forever. “Thank you...” He whispered the words, so she probably didn't hear them.
He helped her on the horse and smiled. “Be careful!” She was about to say something, but suddenly the horse reared up, and ran off, causing Teuk to jump on the other horse and chase her down.
“MARIAAA!!!” The horse ran at its maximum speed, and he desperately (and sexily...ohoho) chased her, 'I'll always protect you... Even when you leave me...' With that promise rising in his heart, he reached out and pulled her onto his horse. She fell into his arms, soaked from the ocean spray and shivering from fear. “Are you ok?”

Meanwhile, Joon waited for Cindy outside of the shack. When she came out, he smiled and held out his hand. “Ready?”
“For what? Huh? Where's Maria?” She looked around and then stared at Joon. He was just so fiiiiiine...
He grinned and grabbed her hand, since she hadn't noticed his.
“We are team 2, and we're supposed to meet for a contest down the beach.” He smirked, “What's a contest without competition...” Her eyes bugged out when he dragged her over to two go-karts, but pushed her in his. “We'll just take one.... For safety of course.” He winked and turned on the beach vehicle and sped off, leaving Cindy holding on to her hat, and slightly scared.
They arrived first, which made him even more conceited about the competition and he smirked. “See? Ha! We're sooo gonna win the couple contest!”
“Couple contest? Whah?????” She blushed furiously and he laughed, “Leeteuk signed us up for a couple contest.... You win $1,000 and four flat screen tv's and a wii!”
Cindy felt weak in the knees from the sound of such luxurious prizes and her eyes glowed with cha-ching images. “I'm in. Why aren't they here yet?”
At those words, her phone rang, and the ID read Chloe. “Hello?”
There was heavy breathing on the other end, when finally her friend's voice was heard. “Hey... Ummm.... I know you guys are busy, but Maria's phone has been ringing like crazy.”
“Huh? From who?”
“Hongki.”
The words brought a content smile on her face. “So he loves her after all...” She hung up and smiled, “Looks like this couple has more competition than they know...”
Joon looked at her, wondering what she meant, but she just smiled. He loved her smile, and he loved the way she moved. He leaned in and kissed her cheek, making her completely shocked.
“ah.... sorry....” He whispered in her ear, making her feel hot and nervous beside him.
“JOON!!! CINDY!!!” Leeteuk shouted at them, holding Maria in front of him on their beautiful white horse, and smiled while waving. “Ready to go?”
Hongki looked at the apartment door in front of him. He was scared to ring the doorbell, she hadn't picked up when he called. He looked at his phone, showing no missed calls or texts. Wow, did he really call her 78 times?
He wanted to hold her, to tell her he only loved her, and that he was sorry. He looked behind him at Hae. “I can't believe I had to drag you here. You should've been begging for Cindy's forgiveness since last night.”
Hae looked guilty as he looked away while Hongki rang the doorbell.
Onew opened the door, his hair was messy and his shirt was wrinkly as he leaned against the doorway contentedly.
“Is... uh... Maria home?” Hongki nervously asked after swallowing.
“Um, no she's not... just....no...” He nervously answered, almost mentioning that Chloe was there, but was shy and didn't want them to be suspicious.
“W...what about Cindy?” Hongki looked crestfallen as he looked at Hae, who obviously wasn't helping.
Onew shifted restlessly and impatiently answered. “She's not here.”
Hae perked up and looked surprised. “Then... where is she?!?”
“No idea.” Onew shifted again and stared them down, then a noise was heard behind him, and he blushed and stepped back, tripping over the door, then shutting it.
They looked at each other, then left.

Cindy looked at the ipod that was hooked up to the huge speakers. It was playing “My Heart Is Injured” which made her annoyed. So she sneaked over and pressed next.
Sadly, it played “Mystery” so she face-palmed and sneaked away before she got caught.
Joon smiled as soon as he saw her, and pointed at the huge pink bus with hearts all over it. “Wanna ride that or go with Maria and Teuk?”
It was embarrassing to Cindy, but she decided to give the two some privacy and agreed to go on the bus. He giggled and held her hand to help her on the bus.
“Watch your step...” There was only one seat left on the bus, so Joon told her to sit as he stood beside her. “No! I should stand!”
He looked at her with his deep sexy eyes and smirked, “Am I the woman? Sit before I make you sit on my lap!”
She blushed and immediately fell on her seat roughly as he laughed and looked out the window. “Ah, they're passing us now...”
Teuk's convertible had the top down and Maria looked over and waved at Cindy, then made a motion with her hands to call her when they arrived. Cindy nodded, showing she understood.
“Ah, I can't believe Joon took the bus, he usually hates things like that!” Leeteuk looked over and smiled as Maria raised her eyebrows and smiled back.
“Oh? I thought it was his idea...” She looked behind them at the embarrassing bus and smiled, “Cindy hates things like that too...”
The wind ran through their hair and he turned up the radio so the awkward silence wouldn't be so...well... silent. It almost bothered him how she was always so quiet unless she was talking about her friends, but he figured she was always like that until she got used to the person.
He just hoped that she would get used to him soon. Suddenly, an American song came on, making him smile uncontrollably. “Bedrock.”
She was obviously avoiding eye contact, and blushing while faking interest in the dashboard emblem in front of her. He was constantly glancing at her, and the song just made it worse. He knew she still had feelings for Hongki, but he couldn't stop himself from loving her.
After all, he met her first.
Leeteuk and Maria made it to the mall before Cindy and Joon, so they went to get something to eat.
"Where do you wanna eat?" He smiled, showing his dimple (that I mention every chapter LOLOL) and flipping his hair to the side.
She looked around and made a face, "I'm just thirsty, so get whatever you want." She smiled back and leaned on the wall at the food court.
Suddenly, she realized she didn't have her phone. "Ah? Hah? Whah?"
"What's wrong?" He looked at her curiously as she looked freaked out. "I forgot my phone!"
He smiled, happy for the fact that she was more interested in spending time with them than her phone.
"You can borrow mine if you need to."

Joon stared at Cindy, getting slightly carsick from standing backwards on the bus.
At the very moment he was beginning to look her all the way down, the bus stopped, and more people got on.
"Hannie! Why is your girlfriend sitting in a chair with her friend when I have to stand?" The beautiful young man looked annoyed as he crossed his arms and made a face.
"Ah, I'm sorry.. But Heechul, aren't they women?" The other man had trouble speaking the language, and was obviously foreign as he stuttered.
"Of course they're women! Do they look like men? Well... Compared to me they do..." He smirked then noticed Joon who was just staring at Cindy.
"Yah!" No response.
"Yah!" Still nothing.
"HEY PERVERT LOOKING AT A GIRL YOU WISH YOU COULD GET NAKED!"
Joon's head shot around as his eyes widened and he blushed furiously.
Heechul smirked and pointed to Cindy with a swing of his head. "Go make her sit on your lap, you're taking up my space."
Cindy blushed and Joon grinned. As much as he wanted to have her on top of him, he didn't want to listen to this person.
"What makes you think I'll just do what you say?" Heechul was now giggling as he leaned back, "Because, I'm the judge for the couple's trot contest today. Can't you recognize a professional when you see one?"
Joon looked like he was about to pass out, then he quickly lifted Cindy and put her on his very happy lap.
Cindy was blushing and feeling horribly awkward, then noticed who the beautiful man was.
"Heechul... Kim Heechul?!?!" He looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
"Obviously, what about it?" She was almost dying laughing when she exclaimed, "I live with your cousin Maria!"
His eyes widened as he fell over, and quickly shot up, "WHAT? SHES HERE?" He blushed as he remembered her. Maria wasn't blood related to him, but due to a marriage between his mom and her uncle, he had ended up meeting, and falling for her at the wedding.
They had spent the whole night, after the wedding, playing computer games and singing karaoke. Mainly trot.
"She's not in this bus, but she's coming to the contest." She smiled at his reaction. Then looked puzzled. Why in the world are all these people in love with Maria, what's to love?
The bus suddenly braked, causing them to slide forward. Joon didn't want Cindy to fall and hurt herself, so he grabbed her and pulled her close, accidently grabbing her chest.
"J...JOON?!?!" She blushed and her eyes got huge as she put her hand over his to make sure it wasn't her imagination.
He immediately seperated his hands from her chest, and blushed while looking away. "I'M SORRY!!!"

Leeteuk's phone rang as they were sipping their shlushie's and walking in the candy store.
"Ah? Ah... Ah...mmmk... Mmhmm, I understand... Okay, bye." Maria looked at him, but didn't say anything, then looked at some blue rasberry candies, thinking that the color was pretty.
"Maria..." Truth be told, Maria loved the way her name rolled off his tongue, and it made her smile happily on the inside when he would say it.
"Yes?"
“They're here."
Chloe held Onew's hand as they blushed while walking down the street. "I...uh...I...uh..."
Onew shyly tried to make conversation, but uberly failed, making the two stalkers behind them pace-palm.
"This guy is pitiful..." Hae looked annoyed as he peeked out from behind a pole and Hongki spy-rolled to a bush.
"We probably don't even need to pretend to be undercover, they're so oblivious..." Hongki raised an eyebrow as they arrived at a bus stop. "They're going to the beach?"
"No, they're going to the couple's contest at the mall near the beach." Hae observed them trip on the step up and sighed while shaking his head when Onew bowed but hit his forehead on a seat.
When the two boys had sat beside each other on the couple's bus, people observed them suspiciously, causing them to be known as the gay couple.

"Cindy, I want something to eat..." Joon whined as they searched for Leeteuk and Maria.
"Let's get something then..." Cindy looked around for both of their friends and for some sort of yogurt stand. "Ah! There's something!"
He smiled and they walked over to order yogurt.
"Where do you think they are?" Cindy asked while dipping her spoon in some yogurt and licking it.
"I don't know.. Probably making out somewhere..." He smirked as Cindy choked cutely and laughed.
"That's possible, Maria's such a perv..." Even though the words were such lies, it fell in well with the conversation so she said them.
"Teuk is too... They fit well together.." He hadn't caught on to her humor however, and was completely serious, which made Cindy choke on her yogurt and laugh uncontrollably.
"A...are you ok?" He was almost scared as he stared at her open yogurt filled laughing mouth.
"Y...yes... I'm fine." She smiled and swallowed yogurt, and giggled quietly.
They laughed and talked some more, when at that moment, Onew and company had entered the mall.
Chloe blushed as Onew shyly held her hand and she stared at the floor. Onew found her so adorable when she was shy, so he constantly stared at her.
BYONGGG
"A...aishhh..." Onew put his hand on his head as Chloe checked her forehead.
Hae and Hongki just stared at them in comical disbelief.
"What the heck is this crap?" Hae looked jealous, wishing that he and Cindy could run into a wall, and led Hongki in a different direction than the awkward couple.
"I can't watch any more of this."

"Maria..." She blushed as she looked at Leeteuk. "Mm?"
"Let's get some candy before we leave~" He smiled his dimpled smile and put his hands on her shoulders from behind her and giggled. "Pick something!!!"
She licked her lips and stared at some assorted lollipops and pointed. "I want those."
He smirked and thought 'I'd give you mine any day...' [WHAT? WHAAAAAT??? LOLOLOL ;-; ]
They bought the candy and left, searching for Cindy and Hae, and found them in an awkward situation.

5 minutes before, up until where we left off...
"So then you leave the noodles covered for 3 minutes, and ta-dah! Instant Ramen!" Cindy smiled as Joon listened intently.
"Wow, I never knew it was so easy." Joon stared at her in amazement.
"C...Cindy?" Hae looked at her in shock, and his eyes teared up.
She froze at the sight of Hae, not knowing what to do, as Maria and Teuk showed up.
"H...hae!" Maria glanced back and forth between Cindy and Hae, then she noticed someone behind him.
"Hongki..."
“WEEEELL THIS IS AWKWARD HUH!” Heechul stepped in between them and saw Maria, then blushed.
However, everyone just stared at each other, silently in shock and hurt. Cindy stared at Hae, who was staring at Joon, who was staring at Maria, who was staring at Hae, while Teuk stared at Heechul, and Chlo/New stared at Hankyung.
“M...Maria....” Hongki started, but Heechul and Leeteuk weren't about to let him finish.
“WELL, the contest is about to start so let's finish this later, huh?” Heechul graciously reached his arm in the direction of the contest, and Leeteuk agreed.
“Come on, Maria.” He glared at Hongki, who was in shock, and he looked at her painfully as she walked away.
If he had seen her face after she walked by, he would've seen tears streaming down her cheeks, as well as Cindy, who followed Joon, and was crying into his sleeve.

“And now! Couple number 26! Joon and Cindy will perform Rokugo!” Heechul breathed heavily into the mic after dancing trot himself, and smiled as he pointed to them dramatically.
Cindy did her parts perfectly, as Joon complimented her, occasionally adding some sexy couple moves, like rubbing against her, making the crowd go wild.
Maria blushed along with Cindy as she watched them, then glanced at Hae who was furious, and smirked.
After the dance finished, the crowd went wild cheering for them, and then Heechul went for the mic, announcing “Now, we have couple number 27! Leeteuk and Mariaaa!!!”
They performed “Shabang Shabang” and trotted their way to infamy.
After it was all over, Cindy pulled Maria into the bathroom, and was followed by Chloe.
“What? He called me 80 times?!?!” She was shocked, and felt confused as Chloe told her about them showing up, and Cindy explained everything to Chloe.
“So what are you guys gonna do now?” Chloe leaned back on the sinks, as they stood there staring at the floor.
“Donghae crushed my heart, and even though I love him, there's someone who's been knocking at the door of my heart, and, unknowingly... I let him in...” Cindy looked off into the distance and smiled softly, “I'm going to finish things with Donghae, then I'm going to tell Joon how I feel.”
The girls looked over at Maria, who's face was unreadable.
“M...Maria...?” Cindy leaned in close to see what her face was like, and then raised her eyebrows. “You in there?”
“Huh? Whuh? Oh, yeah...” She smiled and waved, “I'm just going to go to the person I know loves me the most.”
They all thought she meant Leeteuk, but they didn't realize that she didn't know how she felt. Poor little Maria...

“Cindy! We need to talk!” Hae looked angry and hurt as he grabbed her arm, and she looked him bravely in the eyes and nodded, “I know. I need to tell you something.”
He looked surprised and they walked to a secluded corner of the mall.
“I... I was wrong about Yuri, but why are you with Joon?!?!” He looked at her, as he pushed her against the wall, but she pushed his almost kiss away.
“Hae, there comes a time in life where we all have to choose someone over another person... You chose Yuri, and I choose Joon... I hope you can understand, and I hope you'll still be my friend, but you crushed my heart, I won't let that happen again.” She looked at him in the eyes as they both teared up, then she hugged him. “Goodbye Hae, I loved you.”
She walked off, leaving a small gift in his hands, as he fell to his knees, clutching her gift, and crying.
He opened the package, and gasped as he saw the date.
“To Lee Donghae<3 A&F Love, Cindy<3” He cried when he saw “Happy One Month!” writted with cute little hearts, and the paper stars in a jar, all handmade by her.
“Joon! I need to talk to you!” Cindy smiled as she clutched his arm and looked into his eyes. He was surprised, thinking he would be alone as he watched the woman he loves run to another man.
“W..what is it?” His eyes widened as she jumped into his arms and kissed him. [since she cant reach him she has to jump LOLOLOL 8DDDD]
“I love you.”

The new couple walked to the car to go to the karaoke party and sang together, happy that they loved each other, and they held hands while constantly kissing each other's cheek.
Maria watched them sadly, wondering what would happen now that all of her friends were falling in love. She could see herself in the empty apartment, getting fat. [poor maria T___T]
Leeteuk watched her, knowing something was wrong, but Hongki walked over and pulled her to the corner to talk to her.
“Maria, I'm sorry.... I was wrong...” He started, but he could see where this was already going.
“No, don't apologize, please don't make this harder for me than it already is...” She looked into his and smiled bitterly, “I understand that you can't control your heart, but I can't just run back you to after all the pain you've caused me.”
He looked away and clenched his jaw, trying not to cry.
“I will forgive you, but I won't be able to love you. This is my goodbye, I'm sorry I'm not the person you expected.” She walked off leaving his eyes wide, not knowing what to do.
Chloe and Onew were making out on a random towel when Hae and Hongki met up with each other, and hugged.
“I will have her back Hongki... I know I was wrong, but I can't live without her.” Hongki stared at his friend who was dying inside for love.
“Hae... I hope everything works out for you...” Hongki smiled sadly as he watched Hae run to find the woman he loves, while he just sat there and tried to find another way to have her back. If only he could find that leprechaun...

“LET'S GO CLUBBING!!!” Joon grinned and everyone agreed. He noticed Maria being halfhearted, and sighed. Maria was such a nice person, he wished there was a way to cheer her up. He also wished that Cindy would really like him, but he knew that deep down, she loved someone else.
“I'll enjoy my time with her, then I'll let her go.” He whispered to himself, before boarding the bus. He sat beside Cindy and stared at her. He was glad that he would be going to a college in England soon. It would give him time to forget her.
“Hah? Whah?” She looked at him with wide eyes and he smiled sadly.
“I'd like to change before we go, would you like to change as well?” He made changing motions with his hands and she giggled.
“Sure.”
They arrived at the club looking like models and idols. Cindy wore a black tube top dress that went to her thighs, and a white bow was placed at the bust. Maria's gray dress was sleeveless as well, and had purple buttons going all the way down. Beads draped around her arms, acting as straps, but not actually being useful. Cindy's hair was down and curled sexily, while Maria's was up, with pieces curled and hanging down, accentuating her beautiful pure white neck.
Joon wore all black, and he left his shirt buttons half way opened, and was looking hot with a gold necklace to go with the outfit. Leeteuk had to work so he didn't come.
“Hae! Drinking isn't the answer!” Hongki tried to stop Hae from drowning his heartache in alcohol, but he was pushed away as his friend ordered 5 shots. [of what? Idek LOL]
“Just go dance or whatever...” He looked at his glass sadly, wishing to see her again, and wishing he could hold her close to him once again.
Maria and Cindy stood on the roof and looked down at the city. “I'm thirsty...” Maria tearfully contemplated ordering a drink.
“What? Maria! No! Drinking is bad!!!” Cindy didn't realize that Maria was talking about ordering a virgin drink, and tried to talk her out of it. But Maria didn't notice as she just stared blankly at the sky.
“It's cold out here! Do you want to dance Cindy?” Joon smiled as she took his arm and they walked inside to dance, leaving Maria alone. [wow thanks guys ;___; ]
She shivered as she leaned over the railing and thought about the night of the wedding, and how nice Leeteuk was. She smiled to herself when she remembered the happiness he had brought her, then she remembered the painful reasons that brought him to her. She decided to go in and forget everything.
Cindy and Joon danced together sexily, then he got dragged away by a crowd of movie stars, wanting to dance with him. She didn't mind though, cause she had felt like being alone all night.
Then, she saw Hae. He was alone at the bar, drinking beer. [ROTFLOL IDK DRINKS ;___; ]
Suddenly, a random hot chick set her cougar sights on him, and leaned in, “Hey pretty boy, wanna dance?” He didn't even look at her as he just stared at his glass, then he finally twitched his lip in a disgusted look, and glanced up at her.
“Get lost hoe.” Her eyes widened as she angrily slapped him and walked off.
He smirked and took a drink of his beer, suavely swirling his glass. He then turned his head to look in Cindy's direction, but she ducked behind a random pole before he saw her.
Maria sat at the bar, looking at her glass. She had ordered a pink virgin cosmos, but this was definitely un-virginized.
“Um... excuse me.... bartender...” She timidly attempted to get his attention but he just ignored her. 'This is a familiar scenario...' She thought and felt sick as she remembered what had happened that day.
“Hey baby, wanna dance?” A very unattractive older man grossly made his way toward the stunning beauty, and pulled her away.
“NYUUU! Let me go!!!” She cried, but no one noticed. At least, that's what she thought.
“Get your filthy hands off of her!” Hongki angrily grabbed the other guy and beat him til he was motionless. He then saw Maria crying, with the top of her dress unbuttoned, and he clenched his fists, wishing he could kill any guy that touched the girl he loved, then he realized he wanted to be her comforter, not her avenger.
“Are you okay?” He helped her up, and she fell into his arms, and cried even harder. He felt her trembling and he felt his eyes tearing as well. “Maria.... I'm so sorry... I-” He felt a tear run down his cheek and his voice got choked up as he held her even closer. “If I had it to do over again... I would never make you cry...”

A/N: I started this like, January, and I still haven't finished it... I blame my procrastination and overall lack of focus. *headdesk* It got deleted when my acc got hacked, but here it is again! For Cindy's enjoyment and so I can finish it.
Cindy ran downstairs, being happily chased by Mir and Joon. They had decided to play tag, after being on a major sugar high from eating about 10 pieces of cake. Per person.
She laughed and ran outside as Joon cut her off from the side, knocking her down like a quarterback in a football team. [I bet he was wishing he could touchdown ROTFLOL 8D] Mir ran over to them and they started tickling her.
“AHAHAH!!! STOP! I CAN'T BREATHE!!!” She laughed happily as they laughed too, when Hae walked by talking with Yuri. They both stopped in their tracks, and Cindy immediately stopped laughing as they just stared at each other.
“C....Cindy.....” Hae looked away, not knowing what to say as if a lump was in his throat causing him to refrain from saying anything more. He was holding hands with someone other than his girlfriend, and of all the people who had to see, it was the one person he still cared about.
Joon angrily jumped up and hit him, but before he could do anything more, Cindy jumped up and held him back, “STOP! It's not worth it...” She looked at Hae and smiled, “I knew it was too good to be true. Have fun with the person you really care for.”
Hae looked shocked as she walked by him, seemingly as if he didn't even exist, and Joon looked like he wanted to kill him, but Mir silently pushed him by, following Cindy.
Maria sighed and sat beside Leeteuk. It was slowly getting colder, and she shivered in her sleeveless dress. He noticed and took off his coat, softly putting it over her shoulders, “We can't have you getting sick...” She smiled and put her hand over his on her shoulder.
“Thank you for being there... I don't even know you that well... but you've been so nice...” His heart skipped as he thought about how she made him feel. And somehow, he promised himself that even if they didn't know each other now, he'd get to know every detail, and show her the love she was lacking at this moment. [T__T <3 why so awesome Leeteuk?]
“Come with me.” He suddenly jumped up, and pulled her after him, as they ran to a middle floor of the building, showing a completely huge room, theater style, with a stage and piano in the middle. It was every singer/songwriter's dream.
Her eyes widened as he led her to the stage and turned on the mic, and sat down at the piano. “Here you can sing out all your pain... I'll stay here to play along with you all night if you need me to.”
She wanted to cry from how sweet this boy was, but softly sang out her heart, somehow sounding angelic as he lost all ability to function and he just stared at her.
Joon had always come to the “empty” auditorium to think to himself, and he thought it would be a good idea to bring Cindy to clear her thoughts.
They were followed by Mir, and Seung Ho, who was looking bored, playing with his chubby lips, when he saw them walking and thought it was a soul train, so he followed.
They sat down in the back, and Joon led Cindy to a place under the seats where you could lay down and think. He lied down beside her and they listened to her pretty voice and felt at peace.
“Here's my phone number, in case you ever need anything...” He smiled and reached her a piece of paper, “I'll always be here when you need me.”
He reached over and higged her again, leaving her with a warm heart.
The girls woke up with swollen eyes from crying and a headache. They had stayed up all night singing and talking with the waiters and Leeteuk. Joon and Leeteuk had walked them home, hugging them, and making sure the girls knew they were right across their apartment if they needed anything.
Suddenly, Joon burst through the door smiling, with an open white button up shirt and a pair of long shorts.”Cindy!!! Maria!!! Get up! Get ready! We're gonna have breakfast at Leeteuk's, then we're going somewhere we can swim! Wear a bikini though!”
“Whah? Why?” Cindy complained and fell out of the bed, landing on her head with a thud, but he had ran back out before she had fell.
“Oh... you okay?” Maria was still half asleep, rubbing her eyes, as she took Cindy's hand and helped her up, then left the room to shower. “You can have the shower in our room, I need to tell Chloe where we're going...”
“Oh.... okay...” Cindy yawned and ran into the bathroom to get ready, somewhat excited to be spending the day with Joon. Her new “friend” was so sweet and comforting, and he came around at the perfect time. He was like a prince, while to Maria Leeteuk was her knight in shining armor. [<3 8D ]
They walked over to the apartment across the hall and knocked in the door, and it was immediately open by Leeteuk, wearing [ONLY ROTFLOLOL JKJKJKJK] an apron and holding a spatula covered with strawberry icing. “Hey! You came earlier than I thought you would!” He smiled his dimpled smile, making Maria's heart flutter unexpectedly.
“Oh? Should we go back to our apartment and wait?” Cindy asked, her mouth full of berries she had randomly grabbed on the way out.
“What? No! Joon is in the living room watching TV so you can go sit with him if you want!” Cindy looked at her blushing friend, and realized how equally swollen her eyes were from last night. Deciding that Maria needed a distraction from the boy who broke her heart, she pushed Maria in Teuk's arms, saying “Maria can't cook! Teach her so I won't die when Chloe gets married too.”
The two blushed and immediately separated, as Cindy excused her way past them to meet Joon.
“Good morning!” He smiled and motioned for her to sit beside him as she blushed and sat down, leaving a seat in between them on the couch.
“Good morning...” Her voice was considerably lower than his, making him smile at her shyness. To him, it made her even more adorable. “What are you watching?” Her sudden interest made him almost jump and he pointed to the TV, and said “Candy music video... It's by HOT.” Even though he was thinking 'I'm watching you, as always!'
They watched TV and laughed and talked together about various things, and suddenly Cindy didn't feel as shy any more, he was such a good person.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Maria looked blank watching Leeteuk make eggs. [ROTFLOL YES REAL EGGS TYVM ;-;] The way he used his hands while he worked was almost an art. His lips curled when he would try to not break the yolk, and he would smile to show he was pleased when it turned out perfectly. And it always did.
“Do you want to try?” He smiled and reached out an egg, but she denied, flailing and freaking out. “Oh! No you go ahead! I've never made eggs before!” He laughed [so cutely ;-;<3] and placed it in her hand.
“I'll teach you. Don't worry about breaking this one, we can make as many eggs as it'll take to get it right.” He put his arms around her from behind, and guided her hands in breaking the egg, and pulling the shell apart, and the result was perfection. “See? Perfect... Wasn't so hard, was it?”
She smiled happily and shook her head no as he took over in frying it, stating that he didn't want her to burn herself, as she was known for by all. She blushed, completely feeling doomed that even he had heard about her burning down the kitchen.
He looked over at her red face and smiled warmly. Somehow, every face she made found a way into his heart, making him love every little thing about her.
“Is breakfast almost ready??? I'm STARVING!!!” Joon suddenly appeared, followed by Cindy.
“I just finished. Let's eat.”

Meanwhile, at the apartment, Chloe sat on the couch eating ramen, watching TV. She wondered what Gabby and AJ were doing, then face-palmed herself. Everyone knows what they're doing. Stupid thought.
At that moment, her hand was still on her forehead, the doorbell rang. She slowly opened it, revealing Onew. He smiled and waved, attempting a sexy smirk, but failing miserably and just looking weirdly adorable. “Hi!”
“Hi.... What brings you here?” She felt super nervous since she they were now the only ones there.
“I had a feeling you wouldn't have a date today, so I came to volunteer!” He looked away at the “volunteer” line and nervously coughed.
“Oh? Really?” He nodded as they both blushed, “I suppose I could use a date.”
He tried to look cool and lean against the wall, but he missed by about 3 feet, and fell to the floor, leaving Chloe about to pass out from laughter.
“BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA”

“You got the beach ball?” Leeteuk looked at his clipboard and read off things he had written down to take.
“Check” Joon was in charge of making they were there.
“Blankets?”
“Only found two.”
“CHECK! UHHH.... WHATS NEXT...!!!“
The girls watched the boys run off the list in nervous (almost scared) anticipation.

The four friends got into the car, happily anticipating the day of fun ahead of them. Cindy sat in the back of the car and happily hummed to the radio as Leeteuk started the car, and smiled over at the girl beside him. She looked pale as they drove along, apparently carsick.
“Was it the eggs? Did I do it wrong?” He looked worried as she shook her head no, saying she just needed some fresh air, and rolled down her window.
Joon sat beside Cindy while flipping through cds like a madman. He was looking for a particular song he and his fellow friends at the ramen shop had written and performed, called “Oh Yeah” or something.
He finally found the CD and reached it to Maria, but Leeteuk, being the awesome driver he is, got it himself, slightly swerving while doing so. “AISH LEETEUK WATCH WHERE YOU'RE DRIVING! I DON'T WANNA DIE UNTIL I HAVE NO ABS LEFT!” Joon yelled while laughing, and the driver giggled as he inserted the disk and the addictive song started playing.
He sang along and danced in his seat while Cindy smiled and clapped her hands to the beat. Maria clapped along too, and much to their disapproval the driver followed suit.
“Look! It's GD and TOP!” Leeteuk took both hands off the wheel to point at the two friends walking out of an expensive store playing with their new phones.
Maria looked almost green when she saw his hands off the wheel, but they quickly went back to their original position and he looked at her and smiled his adorably dimpled smile.
Cindy was busy wondering about what kind of phone famous people would buy, when her phone beeped, alerting her of a new text message. Her face fell when she saw the sender of the text, and she felt her heart sink. It was from Hae. She wondered if she should open it, and was almost afraid of what it would say.
“Sorry.” Was all that it said. She felt herself become angry instead of hurt as she threw her phone at Maria's head.
“WOAH WHAT?!?!?!” She stared at her friend with a scared and shocked expression.
“Read it.” Maria was scared and immediately obeyed her friend, becoming a girl with fiery eyes after reading. She almost said something, but immediately became aware of her surroundings, and sighed, “Don't worry, I'll take care of this immediately.”
Maria was like the avenger. Whenever she found out someone she cared about got hurt, she would immediately find the person at fault, and make them pay for it. No one could escape her grasp once she set her eyes on that person. It was a rumor that she half killed all the boys in her hometown, but she said all of that was bologna. She smiled evilly as she licked her lips. It sometimes scared people how much she enjoyed making men cry, but it just attracted Leeteuk more. [wth is this LOL]
He knew the tension in the car was a bit uncomfortable for Joon however, so he decided to lighten the mood. “I have a great surprise for you guys when we get there!”
The others looked at him expectantly, and he smiled proudly. He felt like such a leader this way. “We're gonna be in teams half the day.”
They were about to ask him what he meant, but they had just pulled in, and he jumped out of the now parked car and stretched. “Okay kids! Go change!”
Maria didn't like being called a kid by someone like him, but she figured he must like her anyway, since he's spending so much time around her. She and Cindy ran to the bathrooms and changed into their clothes, Cindy wearing a purple bikini, with a white off the shoulder t-shirt, and black shorts; while Maria wore a green bikini, and a black off the shoulder t-shirt, and black shorts with a lime green stripe on the sides.
The boys stared at their attractive bodies, and the girls hearts stopped, when they saw the boys.
Joon was practically dripping with honey. Wearing only his long trunks, which were red, his abs glistened in the sun. His hair was slightly damp since he had already ran out to the water and splashed around.
Leeteuk was wearing similar trunks that were blue and white. He had on a necklace with wings on it and his hair was put up in a tiny pony-tail. Maria almost fell over at his awesomeness, and Cindy felt a liquid coming out of her nose.
“CINDY! YOUR NOSE IS BLEEDING!!!” Maria stood there in shock and Cindy blushed.
“NO! IT'S THE HEAT FROM THE SUN!” Cindy ran back into the bathroom as Maria giggled and looked at Teuk quickly, as he slightly shook his hair to the side, smiling his adorable dimpled smile. [I think I mention that every chapter LOLOLOL]
“So Maria, you ready to go with team one?” He grinned as she blushed, nodding her head in a yes. He reached out his hand and found her fitting perfectly in his. As he led her out to a shack, her eyes lit up in excitement when she saw what he was bringing her to.
In front of them were two horses, side by side. “I was told you like horses...” He smiled as he saw her ecstatic, jumping up and down and running over to touch them. She was hugging the particularly beautiful pure white one, making him smile even bigger.
“Are we going to have to fight over the white horse?” He giggled as she shook her head. “Of course not! You can just take the brown one!” He laughed as she smiled hugely at him, and hugged him. It shocked him that she would hug him on her own, but he knew it was only a thank you. (or was it? ;D]
“Thank you...” He felt saddened with an unknown weight over his heart, knowing that this embrace most likely wouldn't last forever. “Thank you...” He whispered the words, so she probably didn't hear them.
He helped her on the horse and smiled. “Be careful!” She was about to say something, but suddenly the horse reared up, and ran off, causing Teuk to jump on the other horse and chase her down.
“MARIAAA!!!” The horse ran at its maximum speed, and he desperately (and sexily...ohoho) chased her, 'I'll always protect you... Even when you leave me...' With that promise rising in his heart, he reached out and pulled her onto his horse. She fell into his arms, soaked from the ocean spray and shivering from fear. “Are you ok?”

Meanwhile, Joon waited for Cindy outside of the shack. When she came out, he smiled and held out his hand. “Ready?”
“For what? Huh? Where's Maria?” She looked around and then stared at Joon. He was just so fiiiiiine...
He grinned and grabbed her hand, since she hadn't noticed his.
“We are team 2, and we're supposed to meet for a contest down the beach.” He smirked, “What's a contest without competition...” Her eyes bugged out when he dragged her over to two go-karts, but pushed her in his. “We'll just take one.... For safety of course.” He winked and turned on the beach vehicle and sped off, leaving Cindy holding on to her hat, and slightly scared.
They arrived first, which made him even more conceited about the competition and he smirked. “See? Ha! We're sooo gonna win the couple contest!”
“Couple contest? Whah?????” She blushed furiously and he laughed, “Leeteuk signed us up for a couple contest.... You win $1,000 and four flat screen tv's and a wii!”
Cindy felt weak in the knees from the sound of such luxurious prizes and her eyes glowed with cha-ching images. “I'm in. Why aren't they here yet?”
At those words, her phone rang, and the ID read Chloe. “Hello?”
There was heavy breathing on the other end, when finally her friend's voice was heard. “Hey... Ummm.... I know you guys are busy, but Maria's phone has been ringing like crazy.”
“Huh? From who?”
“Hongki.”
The words brought a content smile on her face. “So he loves her after all...” She hung up and smiled, “Looks like this couple has more competition than they know...”
Joon looked at her, wondering what she meant, but she just smiled. He loved her smile, and he loved the way she moved. He leaned in and kissed her cheek, making her completely shocked.
“ah.... sorry....” He whispered in her ear, making her feel hot and nervous beside him.
“JOON!!! CINDY!!!” Leeteuk shouted at them, holding Maria in front of him on their beautiful white horse, and smiled while waving. “Ready to go?”
Hongki looked at the apartment door in front of him. He was scared to ring the doorbell, she hadn't picked up when he called. He looked at his phone, showing no missed calls or texts. Wow, did he really call her 78 times?
He wanted to hold her, to tell her he only loved her, and that he was sorry. He looked behind him at Hae. “I can't believe I had to drag you here. You should've been begging for Cindy's forgiveness since last night.”
Hae looked guilty as he looked away while Hongki rang the doorbell.
Onew opened the door, his hair was messy and his shirt was wrinkly as he leaned against the doorway contentedly.
“Is... uh... Maria home?” Hongki nervously asked after swallowing.
“Um, no she's not... just....no...” He nervously answered, almost mentioning that Chloe was there, but was shy and didn't want them to be suspicious.
“W...what about Cindy?” Hongki looked crestfallen as he looked at Hae, who obviously wasn't helping.
Onew shifted restlessly and impatiently answered. “She's not here.”
Hae perked up and looked surprised. “Then... where is she?!?”
“No idea.” Onew shifted again and stared them down, then a noise was heard behind him, and he blushed and stepped back, tripping over the door, then shutting it.
They looked at each other, then left.

Cindy looked at the ipod that was hooked up to the huge speakers. It was playing “My Heart Is Injured” which made her annoyed. So she sneaked over and pressed next.
Sadly, it played “Mystery” so she face-palmed and sneaked away before she got caught.
Joon smiled as soon as he saw her, and pointed at the huge pink bus with hearts all over it. “Wanna ride that or go with Maria and Teuk?”
It was embarrassing to Cindy, but she decided to give the two some privacy and agreed to go on the bus. He giggled and held her hand to help her on the bus.
“Watch your step...” There was only one seat left on the bus, so Joon told her to sit as he stood beside her. “No! I should stand!”
He looked at her with his deep sexy eyes and smirked, “Am I the woman? Sit before I make you sit on my lap!”
She blushed and immediately fell on her seat roughly as he laughed and looked out the window. “Ah, they're passing us now...”
Teuk's convertible had the top down and Maria looked over and waved at Cindy, then made a motion with her hands to call her when they arrived. Cindy nodded, showing she understood.
“Ah, I can't believe Joon took the bus, he usually hates things like that!” Leeteuk looked over and smiled as Maria raised her eyebrows and smiled back.
“Oh? I thought it was his idea...” She looked behind them at the embarrassing bus and smiled, “Cindy hates things like that too...”
The wind ran through their hair and he turned up the radio so the awkward silence wouldn't be so...well... silent. It almost bothered him how she was always so quiet unless she was talking about her friends, but he figured she was always like that until she got used to the person.
He just hoped that she would get used to him soon. Suddenly, an American song came on, making him smile uncontrollably. “Bedrock.”
She was obviously avoiding eye contact, and blushing while faking interest in the dashboard emblem in front of her. He was constantly glancing at her, and the song just made it worse. He knew she still had feelings for Hongki, but he couldn't stop himself from loving her.
After all, he met her first.
Leeteuk and Maria made it to the mall before Cindy and Joon, so they went to get something to eat.
"Where do you wanna eat?" He smiled, showing his dimple (that I mention every chapter LOLOL) and flipping his hair to the side.
She looked around and made a face, "I'm just thirsty, so get whatever you want." She smiled back and leaned on the wall at the food court.
Suddenly, she realized she didn't have her phone. "Ah? Hah? Whah?"
"What's wrong?" He looked at her curiously as she looked freaked out. "I forgot my phone!"
He smiled, happy for the fact that she was more interested in spending time with them than her phone.
"You can borrow mine if you need to."

Joon stared at Cindy, getting slightly carsick from standing backwards on the bus.
At the very moment he was beginning to look her all the way down, the bus stopped, and more people got on.
"Hannie! Why is your girlfriend sitting in a chair with her friend when I have to stand?" The beautiful young man looked annoyed as he crossed his arms and made a face.
"Ah, I'm sorry.. But Heechul, aren't they women?" The other man had trouble speaking the language, and was obviously foreign as he stuttered.
"Of course they're women! Do they look like men? Well... Compared to me they do..." He smirked then noticed Joon who was just staring at Cindy.
"Yah!" No response.
"Yah!" Still nothing.
"HEY PERVERT LOOKING AT A GIRL YOU WISH YOU COULD GET NAKED!"
Joon's head shot around as his eyes widened and he blushed furiously.
Heechul smirked and pointed to Cindy with a swing of his head. "Go make her sit on your lap, you're taking up my space."
Cindy blushed and Joon grinned. As much as he wanted to have her on top of him, he didn't want to listen to this person.
"What makes you think I'll just do what you say?" Heechul was now giggling as he leaned back, "Because, I'm the judge for the couple's trot contest today. Can't you recognize a professional when you see one?"
Joon looked like he was about to pass out, then he quickly lifted Cindy and put her on his very happy lap.
Cindy was blushing and feeling horribly awkward, then noticed who the beautiful man was.
"Heechul... Kim Heechul?!?!" He looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
"Obviously, what about it?" She was almost dying laughing when she exclaimed, "I live with your cousin Maria!"
His eyes widened as he fell over, and quickly shot up, "WHAT? SHES HERE?" He blushed as he remembered her. Maria wasn't blood related to him, but due to a marriage between his mom and her uncle, he had ended up meeting, and falling for her at the wedding.
They had spent the whole night, after the wedding, playing computer games and singing karaoke. Mainly trot.
"She's not in this bus, but she's coming to the contest." She smiled at his reaction. Then looked puzzled. Why in the world are all these people in love with Maria, what's to love?
The bus suddenly braked, causing them to slide forward. Joon didn't want Cindy to fall and hurt herself, so he grabbed her and pulled her close, accidently grabbing her chest.
"J...JOON?!?!" She blushed and her eyes got huge as she put her hand over his to make sure it wasn't her imagination.
He immediately seperated his hands from her chest, and blushed while looking away. "I'M SORRY!!!"

Leeteuk's phone rang as they were sipping their shlushie's and walking in the candy store.
"Ah? Ah... Ah...mmmk... Mmhmm, I understand... Okay, bye." Maria looked at him, but didn't say anything, then looked at some blue rasberry candies, thinking that the color was pretty.
"Maria..." Truth be told, Maria loved the way her name rolled off his tongue, and it made her smile happily on the inside when he would say it.
"Yes?"
“They're here."
Chloe held Onew's hand as they blushed while walking down the street. "I...uh...I...uh..."
Onew shyly tried to make conversation, but uberly failed, making the two stalkers behind them pace-palm.
"This guy is pitiful..." Hae looked annoyed as he peeked out from behind a pole and Hongki spy-rolled to a bush.
"We probably don't even need to pretend to be undercover, they're so oblivious..." Hongki raised an eyebrow as they arrived at a bus stop. "They're going to the beach?"
"No, they're going to the couple's contest at the mall near the beach." Hae observed them trip on the step up and sighed while shaking his head when Onew bowed but hit his forehead on a seat.
When the two boys had sat beside each other on the couple's bus, people observed them suspiciously, causing them to be known as the gay couple.

"Cindy, I want something to eat..." Joon whined as they searched for Leeteuk and Maria.
"Let's get something then..." Cindy looked around for both of their friends and for some sort of yogurt stand. "Ah! There's something!"
He smiled and they walked over to order yogurt.
"Where do you think they are?" Cindy asked while dipping her spoon in some yogurt and licking it.
"I don't know.. Probably making out somewhere..." He smirked as Cindy choked cutely and laughed.
"That's possible, Maria's such a perv..." Even though the words were such lies, it fell in well with the conversation so she said them.
"Teuk is too... They fit well together.." He hadn't caught on to her humor however, and was completely serious, which made Cindy choke on her yogurt and laugh uncontrollably.
"A...are you ok?" He was almost scared as he stared at her open yogurt filled laughing mouth.
"Y...yes... I'm fine." She smiled and swallowed yogurt, and giggled quietly.
They laughed and talked some more, when at that moment, Onew and company had entered the mall.
Chloe blushed as Onew shyly held her hand and she stared at the floor. Onew found her so adorable when she was shy, so he constantly stared at her.
BYONGGG
"A...aishhh..." Onew put his hand on his head as Chloe checked her forehead.
Hae and Hongki just stared at them in comical disbelief.
"What the heck is this crap?" Hae looked jealous, wishing that he and Cindy could run into a wall, and led Hongki in a different direction than the awkward couple.
"I can't watch any more of this."

"Maria..." She blushed as she looked at Leeteuk. "Mm?"
"Let's get some candy before we leave~" He smiled his dimpled smile and put his hands on her shoulders from behind her and giggled. "Pick something!!!"
She licked her lips and stared at some assorted lollipops and pointed. "I want those."
He smirked and thought 'I'd give you mine any day...' [WHAT? WHAAAAAT??? LOLOLOL ;-; ]
They bought the candy and left, searching for Cindy and Hae, and found them in an awkward situation.

5 minutes before, up until where we left off...
"So then you leave the noodles covered for 3 minutes, and ta-dah! Instant Ramen!" Cindy smiled as Joon listened intently.
"Wow, I never knew it was so easy." Joon stared at her in amazement.
"C...Cindy?" Hae looked at her in shock, and his eyes teared up.
She froze at the sight of Hae, not knowing what to do, as Maria and Teuk showed up.
"H...hae!" Maria glanced back and forth between Cindy and Hae, then she noticed someone behind him.
"Hongki..."
“WEEEELL THIS IS AWKWARD HUH!” Heechul stepped in between them and saw Maria, then blushed.
However, everyone just stared at each other, silently in shock and hurt. Cindy stared at Hae, who was staring at Joon, who was staring at Maria, who was staring at Hae, while Teuk stared at Heechul, and Chlo/New stared at Hankyung.
“M...Maria....” Hongki started, but Heechul and Leeteuk weren't about to let him finish.
“WELL, the contest is about to start so let's finish this later, huh?” Heechul graciously reached his arm in the direction of the contest, and Leeteuk agreed.
“Come on, Maria.” He glared at Hongki, who was in shock, and he looked at her painfully as she walked away.
If he had seen her face after she walked by, he would've seen tears streaming down her cheeks, as well as Cindy, who followed Joon, and was crying into his sleeve.

“And now! Couple number 26! Joon and Cindy will perform Rokugo!” Heechul breathed heavily into the mic after dancing trot himself, and smiled as he pointed to them dramatically.
Cindy did her parts perfectly, as Joon complimented her, occasionally adding some sexy couple moves, like rubbing against her, making the crowd go wild.
Maria blushed along with Cindy as she watched them, then glanced at Hae who was furious, and smirked.
After the dance finished, the crowd went wild cheering for them, and then Heechul went for the mic, announcing “Now, we have couple number 27! Leeteuk and Mariaaa!!!”
They performed “Shabang Shabang” and trotted their way to infamy.
After it was all over, Cindy pulled Maria into the bathroom, and was followed by Chloe.
“What? He called me 80 times?!?!” She was shocked, and felt confused as Chloe told her about them showing up, and Cindy explained everything to Chloe.
“So what are you guys gonna do now?” Chloe leaned back on the sinks, as they stood there staring at the floor.
“Donghae crushed my heart, and even though I love him, there's someone who's been knocking at the door of my heart, and, unknowingly... I let him in...” Cindy looked off into the distance and smiled softly, “I'm going to finish things with Donghae, then I'm going to tell Joon how I feel.”
The girls looked over at Maria, who's face was unreadable.
“M...Maria...?” Cindy leaned in close to see what her face was like, and then raised her eyebrows. “You in there?”
“Huh? Whuh? Oh, yeah...” She smiled and waved, “I'm just going to go to the person I know loves me the most.”
They all thought she meant Leeteuk, but they didn't realize that she didn't know how she felt. Poor little Maria...

“Cindy! We need to talk!” Hae looked angry and hurt as he grabbed her arm, and she looked him bravely in the eyes and nodded, “I know. I need to tell you something.”
He looked surprised and they walked to a secluded corner of the mall.
“I... I was wrong about Yuri, but why are you with Joon?!?!” He looked at her, as he pushed her against the wall, but she pushed his almost kiss away.
“Hae, there comes a time in life where we all have to choose someone over another person... You chose Yuri, and I choose Joon... I hope you can understand, and I hope you'll still be my friend, but you crushed my heart, I won't let that happen again.” She looked at him in the eyes as they both teared up, then she hugged him. “Goodbye Hae, I loved you.”
She walked off, leaving a small gift in his hands, as he fell to his knees, clutching her gift, and crying.
He opened the package, and gasped as he saw the date.
“To Lee Donghae<3 A&F Love, Cindy<3” He cried when he saw “Happy One Month!” writted with cute little hearts, and the paper stars in a jar, all handmade by her.
“Joon! I need to talk to you!” Cindy smiled as she clutched his arm and looked into his eyes. He was surprised, thinking he would be alone as he watched the woman he loves run to another man.
“W..what is it?” His eyes widened as she jumped into his arms and kissed him. [since she cant reach him she has to jump LOLOLOL 8DDDD]
“I love you.”

The new couple walked to the car to go to the karaoke party and sang together, happy that they loved each other, and they held hands while constantly kissing each other's cheek.
Maria watched them sadly, wondering what would happen now that all of her friends were falling in love. She could see herself in the empty apartment, getting fat. [poor maria T___T]
Leeteuk watched her, knowing something was wrong, but Hongki walked over and pulled her to the corner to talk to her.
“Maria, I'm sorry.... I was wrong...” He started, but he could see where this was already going.
“No, don't apologize, please don't make this harder for me than it already is...” She looked into his and smiled bitterly, “I understand that you can't control your heart, but I can't just run back you to after all the pain you've caused me.”
He looked away and clenched his jaw, trying not to cry.
“I will forgive you, but I won't be able to love you. This is my goodbye, I'm sorry I'm not the person you expected.” She walked off leaving his eyes wide, not knowing what to do.
Chloe and Onew were making out on a random towel when Hae and Hongki met up with each other, and hugged.
“I will have her back Hongki... I know I was wrong, but I can't live without her.” Hongki stared at his friend who was dying inside for love.
“Hae... I hope everything works out for you...” Hongki smiled sadly as he watched Hae run to find the woman he loves, while he just sat there and tried to find another way to have her back. If only he could find that leprechaun...

“LET'S GO CLUBBING!!!” Joon grinned and everyone agreed. He noticed Maria being halfhearted, and sighed. Maria was such a nice person, he wished there was a way to cheer her up. He also wished that Cindy would really like him, but he knew that deep down, she loved someone else.
“I'll enjoy my time with her, then I'll let her go.” He whispered to himself, before boarding the bus. He sat beside Cindy and stared at her. He was glad that he would be going to a college in England soon. It would give him time to forget her.
“Hah? Whah?” She looked at him with wide eyes and he smiled sadly.
“I'd like to change before we go, would you like to change as well?” He made changing motions with his hands and she giggled.
“Sure.”
They arrived at the club looking like models and idols. Cindy wore a black tube top dress that went to her thighs, and a white bow was placed at the bust. Maria's gray dress was sleeveless as well, and had purple buttons going all the way down. Beads draped around her arms, acting as straps, but not actually being useful. Cindy's hair was down and curled sexily, while Maria's was up, with pieces curled and hanging down, accentuating her beautiful pure white neck.
Joon wore all black, and he left his shirt buttons half way opened, and was looking hot with a gold necklace to go with the outfit. Leeteuk had to work so he didn't come.
“Hae! Drinking isn't the answer!” Hongki tried to stop Hae from drowning his heartache in alcohol, but he was pushed away as his friend ordered 5 shots. [of what? Idek LOL]
“Just go dance or whatever...” He looked at his glass sadly, wishing to see her again, and wishing he could hold her close to him once again.
Maria and Cindy stood on the roof and looked down at the city. “I'm thirsty...” Maria tearfully contemplated ordering a drink.
“What? Maria! No! Drinking is bad!!!” Cindy didn't realize that Maria was talking about ordering a virgin drink, and tried to talk her out of it. But Maria didn't notice as she just stared blankly at the sky.
“It's cold out here! Do you want to dance Cindy?” Joon smiled as she took his arm and they walked inside to dance, leaving Maria alone. [wow thanks guys ;___; ]
She shivered as she leaned over the railing and thought about the night of the wedding, and how nice Leeteuk was. She smiled to herself when she remembered the happiness he had brought her, then she remembered the painful reasons that brought him to her. She decided to go in and forget everything.
Cindy and Joon danced together sexily, then he got dragged away by a crowd of movie stars, wanting to dance with him. She didn't mind though, cause she had felt like being alone all night.
Then, she saw Hae. He was alone at the bar, drinking beer. [ROTFLOL IDK DRINKS ;___; ]
Suddenly, a random hot chick set her cougar sights on him, and leaned in, “Hey pretty boy, wanna dance?” He didn't even look at her as he just stared at his glass, then he finally twitched his lip in a disgusted look, and glanced up at her.
“Get lost hoe.” Her eyes widened as she angrily slapped him and walked off.
He smirked and took a drink of his beer, suavely swirling his glass. He then turned his head to look in Cindy's direction, but she ducked behind a random pole before he saw her.
Maria sat at the bar, looking at her glass. She had ordered a pink virgin cosmos, but this was definitely un-virginized.
“Um... excuse me.... bartender...” She timidly attempted to get his attention but he just ignored her. 'This is a familiar scenario...' She thought and felt sick as she remembered what had happened that day.
“Hey baby, wanna dance?” A very unattractive older man grossly made his way toward the stunning beauty, and pulled her away.
“NYUUU! Let me go!!!” She cried, but no one noticed. At least, that's what she thought.
“Get your filthy hands off of her!” Hongki angrily grabbed the other guy and beat him til he was motionless. He then saw Maria crying, with the top of her dress unbuttoned, and he clenched his fists, wishing he could kill any guy that touched the girl he loved, then he realized he wanted to be her comforter, not her avenger.
“Are you okay?” He helped her up, and she fell into his arms, and cried even harder. He felt her trembling and he felt his eyes tearing as well. “Maria.... I'm so sorry... I-” He felt a tear run down his cheek and his voice got choked up as he held her even closer. “If I had it to do over again... I would never make you cry...”
