In preparation for our honeymoon in a few months, Shasta got me this pretty white gold plumeria pendant for Valentine’s Day. ♥
As I mentioned before, we’ll be spending six days at the
Waikiki Marina Resort, which are like little condos and have their own kitchens - awesome for making our own breakfasts, packing lunches and storing leftovers for later. As of yesterday I’ve also made reservations for all of our Hawaii activities. We’re going to have a very full itinerary while we’re there! We will be participating in the following:
Shark Cage Diving Extreme Parasailing Skydiving The Polynesian Cultural Center and Luau Beginner’s Scuba Diving A Bike/Hike Tour A Dinner Cruise aboard the “Star of Honolulu” In between these activities we want to hike the
Diamond Head crater, visit the
Aloha Stadium swap meet (hear this makes for awesome, inexpensive souvenir shopping!), possibly visit the
Dole pineapple plantation, and of course spend some time on the beach and check out yummy Hawaiian restaurants.
What we will not be doing on this trip: anything related to Pearl Harbor. My only previous visit to Hawaii was military-themed (thanks to my Dad getting us there on military vouchers and staying on a military base.) We spent ample amounts of time at Pearl Harbor and to be honest, it just doesn’t hold that much interest for either me or Shasta. So we’re skipping it in favor of tropical adventure instead. ^^
Oh how I’m looking forward to May!!!
