Yes, I haven't seen her very often for many years. I'm thankful that last year we decided to make the road trip from Shasta's parents' house down to visit her, as it turned out to be the last time I got to spend with her. My dad, at least, was going down to visit at least once a month in the past year, and was actually with her when she had her final stroke, so I'm glad that he didn't miss out on being with her during her last days... I know she had a wonderful time with her friends and family just before the stroke hit, and I don't think she could have asked for a nicer way to spend the time. ♥ But we'll definitely miss her... she was a wonderful person.
Yeah, I'm going to miss her lots and it's especially hard on my dad (he's secretly *SUCH* a mama's boy...)
I've told everyone I know that's what I want when I die. Somebody better send some of my ashes in to be made into a diamond. At least cut off my hair or a toe or something to be cremated if necessary. :P
