First Entry
Hello my name is Michael. My life has ups...and it has downs. yesterday was a pretty good day. I got to hand out with my friend maura ( who is really cool ). We saw meet the fockers which was actualyy really funny. Today i got to hang out with my dad which was cool, besides the fact that he told me he was being deployed to Afghanastan (thats one of those downs in life). But i have faith in him because hes been in combat before. Tommorow i dont have school because of Martin Luther King Jr. day. I think that he might have been one of the most doan to earth american thinkers of all time. Without his ideas America wouldnt be what it is today. We wouldnt be exactly "the land of the free". But more of a country enslaved to its own pride. thought like these might offen some people but it doesnt matter. But boy do i love america. Americas been through some hard times the great depression, 9/11, and others. But we still have prevailed as the only world power left today. Sometimes i think of america ( and great britian too ) as the world police. I mean who else is going to take down an unruly dictator. We make decisions and lots of them the world doesnt agree with... but when we make decisions england is there to stand behind us 110%. other countries are afraid to make decisions because there afraid of causing a war or conflict. But i say i rather have a war than genocide or people starving, so some ass-hole can shit on a golden toilet. Im being rather political i dont no why but i guess its a bold 1st entry. And as in the wise words of Martin Luther King Jr. ... "I have a dream"... and now i need to dream good night alll. Peace-Out.
