RP log #1 - Bonnie and Clyde (closed to Selphie)

"Your room mate and his friend seem... nice" Irvine said as they left Selphie's room. He smiled sincerely, they obviously cared about Selphie.

"Where do you wanna go for dinner" He asked as they walked.

Selphie hadn't been paying much attention as her and Irvine moved to a table and sat down. She was too busy watching and enjoying the band.

When she noticed Irvine said something, she turned to look at him, "Wha- Oh! Uuumm..." she picked up the menu and looked for the beverage section. "Ohh! I'll have pink lemonaid!" she said, spotting her favorite drink.

"Sounds good, I'll have one too" He told the waitress.

The young woman went to get their drinks and let them look at the menu. Irvine took the time to watch Selphie, somthing about her really charmed him....

Selphie looked through the menu, everything sounded so good! She wasn't sure what to choose from. "What are you getting-" she started to ask, but when she looked up she noticed Irvine was looking at her in what she took to be oddly. "Is there something on my face?" she asked, her bright green eyes wide.

"Cute little dimples" Irvine replied back, his grin growing some.

He laughed. "Sorry, It's jsut so much fun to watch some one who's enjoying somthing else so much. Maybe I'm jaded, but I've seen the mugs on that band before and I'd much rather spend my time looking at yours instead"

Selphie felt her face turn very red at that moment. "T-thank you," she said, not knowing what else to say. She had never been complimented like that before.

A few seconds later the waitress showed up with their drinks and to take their food orders. Selphie was secretly happy for the distraction. "Oh... um..." she said, flipping through the menu. She had no clue what to order!

"I'll order first then" Irvine offered so she'd have a chance to look.

Irvine ordered a steak and a salad for himself. Well done.

"I'll have chicken fingers and fries!" she said, coming to a decision. She figured you could never go wrong with chicken fingers.

She even ordered cute things, Irvine thought as he was even more smitten.

"Watch out Selphie, I might steal some of your fries" He warned her.

"That's fine!" she said with a smile. She liked to share things with people.

"So.. um, where are you from?" she asked, trying to make conversation. She figured it was best to learn more about the guy she was on a date with, especially since she would need to report every detail about him back to her "bodygaurd" Zell.

"Twlight Town, lived here my whole life" Irvine replied. "How about you? I'll bet you come from some place a lot more intresting than here" He said, sipping his drink.

"Coool! I'm from Destiny Island!" She missed home and her friend's, but she was already starting to love the town and college and all the friend's she was making. "More interesting? It's plenty interesting here!" Of course, her mind was mostly thinking of the trains, they didn't have those on Destiny Island at all.

"Well, after 23 years living here, I've found as much trouble to get into as I can get away with" He said, stirring his ice with the staw. "I'd really like to see new places, but ya know, plans get made other wise" He shrugged.

"Tell me more about destiny Island, is it really a whole bunch of little islands close togehter?"

"Yup! It's realy nice there! Maybe you can come visit it with me some day, since you want to see other places!" She started, but then she suddenly realized something he said. "23? Did you say 23? That's..." she trailed off, doing the math quickly in her head. "7 years older than me!" Oh my god, I'm on a date with a guy 7 years older than me! I thought he was only 19 or 20!

"Somthing wrong, pookie?" Irvine raised an eyebrow, glancing at her over her glass.
