“What fools these mortals be,” Gilla observed.

Her sister flew to her side.

“What are you watching?” Allia asked.

“The mortals are fighting again,” Gilla said somewhat bored.

“Again?”

Allia watched. “They weren’t like this before. They’ve been rioting now more than ever.”

“Yes,” Gilla said slowly. “It’s almost as if…as if someone’s controlling them.”

Gilla and Allia looked at each other.

“Sillia!”

Laughter engulfed them.

Gilla’s eyes flashed.

“Sillia, you must stop interfering with the humans!”

Sillia showed herself. “Oh but why sweet sister? They call out for me. I haven’t done anything they didn’t ask me to do.”

“You aren’t supposed to intervene unless they are in danger,” Gilla said in an icy tone.

Sillia shrugged.

Allia flew between her two sisters. She held up her hand.

“Peace be, Sillia. We are supposed to benevolent.”

“I find that to be boring,” Sillia said.

“No one cares what you find boring,” Gilla snapped back.

Sillia opened her mouth to speak but was stopped by Allia.

“Please Sillia, stop interfering with the mortals unless you are needed,” Allia said softly.

Sillia looked into Allia’s deep blue eyes. She could never win against Allia. She nodded slowly.

“I will stop-.”

“Good,” Gilla said loudly.

“But only for you,” Sillia said to Allia.

Allia smiled. “Thank you.”

Sillia nodded. She shot a look at Gilla before disappearing.
